Vocational degrees like medicine, dentistry, and nursing were found to lead to the most highly skilled jobs according to a new study. Over half of new graduates now want to be their own boss rather than take graduate jobs. Students are reminded to properly dispose of any rubbish outside of school and not bring takeaway food near the building to keep the community clean.

The ceremony takes place in Stockholm every
year.
The prize is not awarded posthumously, but you
can die after it has been awarded and still be
presented.
Three people were in prison when they received
the award.
The average age of the Nobel laureate is 59
years old. And the oldest was 90.
Only two of the medals have neen sold whilst
the winner was alive.

5. Rubbish Outside of School
 There is increasing concern about Sixth Formers leaving rubbish
outside of school. Notwithstanding the fact that takeaway food
should not be brought back anywhere near the school building, any
rubbish should always be placed in a bin. Being a good citizen
means respecting the community and those that live in it.
 Having lunch outside of school is a privilege. If rubbish continues to
be dropped outside then you will lose the right to get food
elsewhere.

 UCAS Advice – The window for student finance is coming to a
close. The deadline is 27 May 2018. If you need advice come
and see us in the Sixth Form office.
 UCAS Visit – There is a trip to the UCAS Fair at the NEC on
Monday 25 June 2018. Please tell your tutor if you wish to go.
 Apprenticeships – UCAS now has an apprenticeship section on
