THREATS TO NOKIA RIVAL APPLE IS TAKING UP MARKET SHARE FROM NOKIA IPHONE IS THE MOST POPULAR MOBILE DEVICE SAMSUNG, MOTOROLA, SONY ERICSON IS USING GOOGLE ANDROID WHICH IS MORE POPULAR THAN SYMBIAN NEW ENTRANTS ARE ENTERING THE MARKET FOLLOWING APPLE. EG.-DELL, GOOGLE, ACER ETC
BRAND POSITION OF NOKIA
MICRO ENVIRONMENT THREAT OF NEW ENTRANT IS HIGHER BECAUSE OF FAST GROWTH OF THE MOBILE DEVICE MARKET EXISTING COMPETION IS TOUGH AND GETTING TOUGHER BECAUSE EVERY COMPANY IS BRINGING UP NEW UPGRADED MODEL TO GAIN MARKET SHARE. THREAT OF SUBSTITUTE PRODUCT IS HIGH BECAUSE MOBILE DEVICE AND COMPUTER IS COMBINIG TOGETHER TO MAKE IT MOBILE COMMUNITON WITH COMPUTING ABILITY.
4. BARGAINING POWER OF CUSTOMER IS LOW BECAUSE CUSTOMER ARE NOT UNITED AND NOT ABLE TO INFLUENCE PRICE. 5. BARGAINING POWER OF SUPPLIER IS LOW AS WELL BECAUSE MOBILE PHONE PRODUCERS ARE BIG COMPANIES AND THEY CAN CHOOSE TO SWITCH SUPPLIER IF THEY WANT TO DO SO.
MACRO ENVIRONMENT POLITICAL CONDITION IS STABLE IN THE WORLD SO MOBILE PHONE INDUSTRY IS NOT AFFECTED ECONOMIC RECESSION IN THE MAJOR DEVELOPED COUNTRIES IS A THREAT TO THE INDUSTRY SOCIAL COMMUNICATION IS VERY POPULAR AND THE DEMAND IS GROWING. SO MOBILE PHONE INDUSTRY ADOPTED SOCIAL NETWORKING IN THE DEVICES.
4. TECHNOLOGY IS CHANGING VERY RAPIDLY. SO ALL THE COMPANIES IN THE INDUSTRY INCLUDING NOKIA IS FORCED TO ADOPT ALL NEW TECHNOLOGIES 5. ENVIRONMENT IS A HOT ISSUE FOR A WHILE NOW. SO NOKIA ADOPTED TECHNOLOGIES AND MEASURES TO REDUCE ENVIRONMENTAL DAMAGE 6. LEGAL PROTECTION IS STROG FOR THE USERS. SO NOKIA NEED TO COFORM STANDARD OF THE PRODUCT BEFORE LAUNCH.
INTRODUCTION ON NOKIA N8   TO CONVERT THE WEAKNESSESS INTO STREANGTH AND TO RESPONSE TO THE NEW THREATS FROM COMPETITORS, NOKIA NEEDED A PRODUCT OF TOP CLASS.  AND THIS IS NOKIA N8. BEST EVER PRODUCT OF NOKIA
CONVERTING WEAKNESS TO STRENGTH N8 will convert designing weakness of Nokia to its strength Upgrade version of symbian will be used in N8 which will over come the operating system issue
