Roles and responsibilities
 Monitor and control project execution related to civil / structural work activities in tank farm area i.e.
Construction of HFO/HCO storage tank , DFO storage tank Foundation (96m diameter) ,
Construction of 5km Dike Walls & Access Ramp and concrete paving in tank farm area ,
Construction of Electrical Manhole & Duct banks , Construction of pipe sleeper , evaporation pond ,
irrigation pond , cable rack and pipe rack foundation , stormwater manhole , installation of UPVC
& GRP pipe in stormwater manhole.
 Supervise and inspect the site work progress as directed by the project manager throughout the day and
continuous monitor of labor working in critical areas for all matters of quality, safety and progress.
 Verify the compatibility of the site with the designed permanent works and check for obstructions.
 Review materials delivered to site for conformance with approved samples, materials and
equipment and report discrepancies to the material manager.
 Ensure all work i.e. inspection and test undertaken are in accordance with the specification as per
SAUDI ELECTRICITY COMPANY (SEC) standards.
 Assign supervisor and junior engineers in their specific job to do as per related in their categories to
maximize time to pursue work.
 Do revision and estimates in case of additional works given by the clients to do so, as per change
order basis.
 Raising RFI (Request for Inspection) through QMIS (Quality Management Information System).
 Check daily & weekly work accomplishment and further plans a scheme to reciprocate work losses
and delays.
 Participate in weekly safety walkthrough in my concerned area and resolve issues found during the
conduct. Implement & abide safety rules as prescribed in a specific activity.
 Compiles monthly invoice paperwork, submit to client for approval.
 Push engineering for IFC drawings to support schedule.
 Involved in resolving any construction civil issues by preparing field change notice (FCN) and
