Sing Street tells the story of a boy in 1980s Dublin who forms a band to impress a girl. He struggles to fit in at his new school but uses music to make friends. Through his band, his confidence and social life improve. In the end, he succeeds in winning over the girl and leaves Dublin with her to start a new life in England. • Sing street is a romantic musical, the film is set in Dublin and about a
boy who has started a new school and was finding it hard to settle in. he
tries to make a band to impress a girl which gave him the idea of
starting the band in the first place and started making friends from this.
At the start connor is not happy with life and is getting bullied at school.
In the middle stage he is starting to fit in and is making friends and a
band but happens at different fazes. In the end, he is much happier with
himself and gets to leave dublin with his girl to start a life in england.

• The messages is the film is not to give up as for example Connor starts a
band just to impress a girl and didn’t give up and this makes people
think anything is possible.

• I think the audience will watch this as it consists of teenagers and adults,
I also think teenagers will watch this more because they can relate to it.
Their target audience is people who like music and drama and romance.
