Projects and Routes
• 2000/2002 working on the Kings Cross Project as part of a Trackwork team responsible
for constructing new sidings lines (plain line and S&C) adjacent to Kings Cross Station.
• 2002/2004 contracting with VG Clements Ltd on many different projects including the IMT
Midlands Plain Line Track Renewals contract and the Stockport Blockade were we
assisted in the re-development of all lines in and out of Stockport.
• 2004/2012 working with various companies in a variety of roles on the LNE. The
Midlands route from St Pancras to Chesterfield and the East Coast Main Line from Kings
Cross to Grantham. Working with in the IMT we delivered many track renewals at
various locations including the ‘Undeliverable’ Kings Cross Tunnel.
• 2012/2013 working as part of small Babcock team responsible for developing and
delivering a Gauge Restoration programme between Bedford and Newcastle on all routes
in the Midlands and the East. The contract is worth an estimated 18 million pounds over
18months for Babcock with further work to be allocated if it’s successful.
• 2013/2014 working for the LNE Plain Line delivery team at Babcock Doncaster
responsible for delivering plain line track renewals between Grantham and Newcastle on
all routes on the East Coast Main Line and Midlands Main Line under the CP4 contract.
• 2014/Present following the transition between CP4/5 I remained with Babcock and
relocated to the Saltley Depot heading up a team delivering plain line track renewals.
Following the Grip4Track process on the West Coast Main Line routes ensuring all jobs
are delivered safely, on time, to budget and to the required standards.

dedicated to any role I undertake, the amount of time off sick in 15 years is minimal and I am not
