Role/Position: Project Controls Lead – Kearl Expansion Project Commissioning &
Start Up
• Involved in Squad checks, drawing reviews, hazard / risk reviews, reliability reviews, process
studies and constructability reviews
• Involved in the development of commissioning and start-up plans, Pre Start Up Safety Reviews,
and commissioning and start-up schedules
• Participates in weekly project cost reviews/scheduled meetings

• Responsible for tracking and updating Commissioning progress and performance using earned
value measuring system

the field by physical on-site quantity surveying.

Oil Sands (Project cost is approximately $800,000,000.00).
JOB ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assist with project report generation, compiling and analyzing large amounts of data in support
of the Project Control function
• Perform Site visit / site investigation and obtain actual field quantities and verify installed
quantity by physical on-site measurements.
• Preparing Progress & Performance Report on a weekly.
