Si'MATT is a project that aggregates products and services to connect businesses, social organizations, and citizens in the Puglia region of Italy. It uses an AI-powered proactive system to target personalized communications and offers to users about cultural events like theater based on their interests. The system will generate augmented reality content and manage a virtual credit system to incentivize purchases and event attendance. It aims to improve users' experience and information about cultural offerings through additional multimedia content and related service recommendations.

2. Si’MATT is a starting project (June 2014). Si ' MATT aggregates several products
and services intended for the community and designed in such a way to create a
link between business, social, entertainment (E.g. theatre) enterprises and citizens

3. The idea basically consists in making each user reachable by a targeted
communication generated by a proactive AI system. The user, in this way
can surf through information and service offers referred to personal
interests.
Information will be generated and managed with augmented reality
techniques and it will deal with the improvement of the user information
quality in relation to the ongoing events (additional content, interviews,
and preview) as well as similar services, for instance logistics services
related to the enjoyment of the show (restaurants, parking lots, hotels,
conventions).

The main objectives are:
• Augmented Reality environment actually aimed at linking the shows through the
simple picture of the billboard and then the acquisition of geolocalization data and
the relative time stamp
• Environment for the generation of a virtual credit associated to purchases realized
by citizens. The amount will be credited in function / proportion of purchases made
by each user of the system. The credit will be transferred to the manager for the
purchase of theater tickets and will be enriched by TPP to sponsor specific events
or times of representations
• Production of content related to augmented reality (making spots and the material
that links the purchase of the product to the shows managed by TPP); moreover,
advertising banners of those companies distributing virtual credit can be also
realized;
• Auction mechanism for the management of users' interests towards the products
distributed. The “living” mechanism will be used for managing addressing feedback
of the system and as relevance feedback in the training phase of the visual part of
the system.
