     Commercial Banking outreach is just 1 branch per 10,000 adults and
     just 137 loan accounts per 1000 adults (compared to 2.5 and 1085
     in the Netherlands respectively)

The state of Indian mf sector…
•    Through, most of the mf operations is concentrated in South & Eastern India, the
     rural penetration is hardly 25%
•    Both SHG & MFI models continue to grow. However, MFI model is quite effective in
     reaching people
•    There are not many community owned and governed financial institutions
•    Regulation is on cards
