Maxwell Leadership if defined literally explains about a position where an individual or a group leads others to work and follow certain protocol, and motivate them to work effectively. - 4. Inspiration & Motivation Aleader should set an example for others to follow, should inspire and motivate others to work to their highest potential and leave no stones unturned. Communication & Accountability The leader should take the responsibility and be accountable for the same. Also, should follow proper channel of communication to remove the bottle necks and miss management of information. Honesty & Cooperation The leader should be honest in giving opinions and feedbacks to the members, at the same time should cooperate with all the employees and understand their view points as well. - 5. Far-sighted & Empowered Theleader should be able to assess the different situations. He/ She should be able to see the pros and cons before hand to avoid miss happenings. Understanding & Empathetic Since it is the leader's responsibility to maintain the decorum in a team, it is very important to be empathetic and understanding towards the needs and situations of the members. Creative & Convincing The leader has to keep coming up with creative and innovative ideas to engage the team. The convincing quality will help keep the ideas aligned in the entire team. - 6. The leader playsan important role in grooming of team members and other employees. It is a great responsibility on the shoulders of a leader to conduct a programme or a project. ROLE OF LEADERSHIP The leadersshould also deliver a combination of expert advice which comes through experience, commitment, collaboration, understanding various point of views and giving them due consideration, dedication, motivation, focus and empathy for others. Both the activities are dependent on each other. Decision making Decision making for any project is very essential. But at the same time due importance should be given to everyone's opinions and a solution collaboratively should be made. Team members must align their personal goals along with the organisational goals to achieve better.
