This article shows a video interview from psychologist Paul Stevenson, he talks
about what really goes on and how Australia can t see what is really going on at
these detention centres. He mentions that the attitude that is expressed from the
government perspective is that these people are really in detention centres and not
on a holiday camp, meaning that they have to be behind 3 meter scrim fences, that
people have to be housed in venal tents on dirt floors in 40 degree heat. It shows a
video of a refugees saying We need your help, 24 hours we didn t get any food, any
water. This video interview was very important in creating my view for my rationale
and will be very useful as you can hear the pain in the refugee s voice. It gives an
insight into the way refugees are treated and that Australia needs to change how we
treat them. The interview is very opinionated as it is from Paul Stevenson s view on
the detention centres.

The protagonist of the novel, Bigger Thomas, is a perfect example on how the
white people in the novel cause fear. We first seen Bigger acting out on his fear
when he starts to taunt his friend for not wanting to rob a store. Bigger says,
Bigger was afraid of robbing a white man and he knew that Gus was afraid, too.
Blum s store was small and Blum was alone, but Bigger could not think of robbing
him without being flanked by his three pals. But even with his pals he was afraid.
He had argued all of his pals but one into consenting to the robbery, and toward the
lone man who held out he felt a hot hate and fear; he had transferred his fear of the
whites to Gus. He hated Gus because he knew that Gus was afraid, as even he was;

Elliot Cook Carter, Jr. is an American classical composer. He was born on
December 11th, 1908 into a wealthy family of lace importers, in Manhattan, New
York. He became involved in music initially as a teen, and was encouraged in this
regard by family friend Charles Ives, who was also a composer. At the age of 15, he
had the opportunity to sit in the audience of the Boston Symphony Orchestras New
York Premiere of The Rite of Spring. It was then 1924Нѕ the experience would prove
to be a major influence on the remainder of his life.
Carter received his undergraduate degree in English at Harvard University, but he
also studied music there, as well as at the nearby Longy School of Music. At
Harvard, influential composers such as Gustav Holst and American composer
Walter Piston were among his teachers. He was inheriting a knowledge base from a
strong pedigree in the music world, and it would come to shape his style and
breadth throughout his career. He also sang with Harvard s Glee Club and did

Testament, we find four books called gospels Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. All
four present compelling accounts of the life, ministry, death and resurrection of Jesus

Mark is the shortest of the gospels, with 16 chapters. Matthew has 28 chapters; Luke
has 24 and John 21. The main reason Mark s gospel is shorter than the others is

Because he spends less time recording the teachings of Christ, the book of Mark is a
fast moving, action packed description of Jesus 3 year ministry. But when you read
Mark, you would do well to take note of this while not focusing as much on the

amazing experiences that one gets to witness volunteering at an animal shelter.
During the time I spend volunteering at the Youngwood Animals Friends Shelter I
get the privilege to aid abused, injured, or ill animals. My first abused animal that I
had helped was a black collie lab mix ame Tessa. Tessa was a dogwho despised
humans and dogs alike. She would growl, snap, bark aggressively and do all of the
signs of basic signs of defense or threats.I didn t walk her because she was on the
category of red . Red meant that a volunteer needed special training to walk the red
dogs. I am not trained to walk said red dogs but i was able to give her treats and
clean her kennel. ANother dog, who s name was Cody, he was a mix of shelties
and collies. Cody was surrendered by his owners due to the fact he was roaming
the neighborhood underweight and has a old leg injury. The vet determined that
the leg had to be amputated due to the fact that it was no use to Cody any more and
was just getting in his way of a better quality of life. The day after Cody s surgery
Cody walked up the two flights of steps to get into the cat wing. He was a new dog,
with his injured leg amputated he was acting like the puppy he should be acting.
Sadly, Cody passed was recently due to an unknown reason. He died in his sleep on
his bed in his new home
