Before today s modern English, our language has gone through several changes
and developments. Language is constantly evolving , but it is neither a bad or
good thing. Language change is a natural occurrence and cannot be stopped

pressures (Mahoney). Other reasons are invasions of towns and villages,
colonization, migration, and interaction with people who speak other languages.

The wandering map activity really helped me set everything out and figure out
what has led to what in my life. I love planning and seeing things visually, as I am a
