2. Aims for Brief
You have been asked by your production company, Zed Studios, to plan and produce a
new [short] horror film entitled The Devil’s Playground, which is set for release on
Halloween night. During the film, Zed Studios would like you to enforce the message of
safety of teenagers around strangers (real-life and digital encounters). The film must be
between five minutes and seven minutes in length and should include all of the
conventional elements of a horror film that will attract 14-16 year olds from the East
London area. Now that you have completed your film, you must evaluate its
effectiveness, as well as your own performance during the project. For the evaluation,
you should look to utilise a variety of creative platforms – ideally, a different one for
each topic.
3. Planning
I was originally in a group with aaron cody and liya for two weeks and then
swapped over to the group i'm in now.
Since i’ve been this group i have done camera work and learnt a lot of camera
techniques e.g. MD, CU, LS, MDC and a Over-Shoulder-Shot
Me and Josh Have been done our own edits on the Apple Mac’s and we’ve got
feedback from our peers.
4. Production
The production stage i wasn’t involved in because i was originally in another
group and was moved over to Reisha group.
When i joined they were just discussing there film ideas and putting it on their
powerpoint.
5. Pre production
The pre production stage was when i was fully involved in this is where i was
assigned to my role in the production of the film.
They changed the whole script and characters we came up with the new title of
the film named Extreme Sports.
I was the cameraman.
6. Post Production
In the this production stage we were all assigned with new roles me and josh
were the editors on the apple mac for our films. Reisha was in charge of the
camera shots and tasnuva was in charge of the storyboard and catlin was
helping josh with the feedback to his edit.
7. Organization
I’m very organized i’ve put all my slides on my wordpress www.wordpress.com
and it has all my assessment from Unit 5 up to Unit 2,3 my wordpress account is

9. Areas for Improvement
The planning was good until we changed the whole script
The second idea is unorganised
We gave calitin a chance to use the camera but it went terribly. We were filming
a scene downstairs near the science corridor and when reisha one on the main
characters she zoomed in too much and i had cut that scene.
10. Conclusion
In conclusion my performance during this task has been a experience that i can take
with me throughout my life.
The knowledge that i've consumed was on this three things.

● Editor
● Creating the camera shot list
