PRODUCTION LOG
MONDAY 26TH JANUARY 2015
Today we got together to plan and film our trailer. We then decided to
choose which scenes that we could place first. We did this in order to
make our film eye catching.
We planned everything on the fourth day and we also decided the days
we could meet up with each other to choose what’s best for the movie.
Ragwana had a diary then, we decided the diary entry would be in her
book, we then wrote the entry.
Whilst we were deciding which parts of the scenes should go first, we
placed all the scenes we chose. We chose the normal clips and then we
decided to add all of the interesting clips in-between. We did it with
precaution, without giving too much information of the movie away, as
I ensured the people who received the roles of the characters were
available and reliable, we had to make time to meet and see each
other.
All of this was done because we needed a final decision for our movie
and needed to come to a conclusion, without spending most of our
time doing the planning.
I was responsible for looking after the tripod and camera. Whilst taking
them everywhere I go, also had to ensure that everytime I put it back
I take the right number, to prevent others from losing their work. As
the sound person, I was responsible for working closely with the
director and making sure that all of the characters sound clear and
distinctive for each and every scene.
In order for me to create good sustainable sounds I used garage band
on the Mac software, added these sound effects to make it more
gloomy and dangerous. I also had to be very proactive towards any
and every problem that comes my way. For the scenes with Nesserine
(main character) I used gloomy, eerie sounds to show what kind of
situation it is.
