You know how college students aspiring to enter the sports industry often
face the challenge of bridging the gap between academic learning and
practical experience, even especially in roles like a Sports GM or even
analytics? Well, what I do is actively seek opportunities to apply theoretical
knowledge in real-world settings, gaining hands-on experience in sports
management. In fact, I have successfully completed an internship where I
contributed to data analysis projects. I’m Colton Shock, a driven college
student passionate about making a meaningful impact in the sports industry.

Methodology:
Forbes valued more than 200 global brands by looking at three years of earnings and allocating a percentage of those earnings based on the role brands play in each industry (e.g., high for luxury goods and beverages, low for airlines and oil companies). We applied the average price-to-earnings multiple over the past three years to these earnings to arrive at the final brand value.
