2. ABSTRACT
• Strategy to manage traffic in India
Traffic Jam and air pollution are major challenges in every
major cities in India. In spite of having enough roads in
certain metros, the traffic jam is a common phenomenon.
Traffic jams not only slowdown the traffic but our economy
and increase the pollution. From the air pollution we
become victims of chest related health disorders.
Influential people are least bothered about traffic by
creating self made jail in their air-conditioned car. The
traffic rules are there but we rarely follow them. We
Indians have got more IQ than westerners but we rarely
follow them. We are not disciplined. Everyone wants to go
before other breaking all the rules. So in this we take use
of automation such as sensors to control traffic and to
reduce accidents also the pollution which is increasing day
by day.

PARKING
• Pneumatic road tube The Vehicles are detected
by air pressure created, which closes a switch,
and produces the signal when the vehicles pass
over it . It is easy to implement and maintain
the parking of cars as the light changes from red
to green or vice versa. So the person can easily
identify the vacant space and without wasting
time also reduce the haphazard parking.

7. HAZARDOUS GAS LEAKAGE FROM
CARS
Sometimes due to inner combustion in engine ,
toxic gases starts producing in the car also when
we close the window of the car and switch on the
AC after some time carbon monoxide(CO) form
inside the car but after certain level it will cause
very harmful effect to our health and many
accidents occurs due to this. So to reduce this we
use sensors like MQ6 (LPG Propane gas detector) ,
MQ9(Carbon Monoxide Detector) when the level
of these increases from certain level controller cut
off the engine supply and open the mirrors of the
car .
