Established in 1969, Eagle Airways is a regional airline based in Hamilton. They are now
wholly owned by Air New Zealand and operates regional services under the Air New
Zealand Link brand. Air New Zealand has planned to disband this airline by August 2016.
Maintenance Scheduler 2013 – present
Reporting to the Manager Engineering Technical, as part of a team of three
maintenance schedulers, responsible for planning and scheduling overnight and short
term maintenance requirements for up to 18 Beech 1900D aircraft across five
maintenance bases located throughout New Zealand utilising Eagle Air’s CMMS TRAX.
Communicate in an adaptable manner and act as a pivotal hub between the airline,
pilots, planning department, engineers and management to ensure maintenance and
repair requirements are consistently met 24 hours per day, seven days a week.
Receive all aircraft defect reports from pilots and coordinate engineering personnel,
parts and equipment required to facilitate repairs across New Zealand.
Prepare comprehensive management and operational reports outlining daily state of the
airline which includes: flight restrictions, airport delays, aircraft reliability and defects.
Utilise efficient organisation skills to balance competing demands in a composed
manner within a fast paced environment.
Demonstrate current knowledge and maintain compliance with CAA legislation.
Contract Engineer (Air New Zealand Maintenance) 2007 – 2010
Reporting to the Production Supervisor, undertook full range of aircraft maintenance
and repair activities on up to 18 Beech 1900D aircraft in Hamilton.

Prelim is a small family owned business providing maintenance products and services to New
Zealand’s corporate forestry, dairy and petrochemical industries. They specialise in Condition
Based Maintenance and use a Computer Maintenance Management System to carry out
onsite lubrication, oil sampling, vibration analysis, plant inspections and shut work.
Reliability Technician 2011 – 2013
Reporting to the Managing Director, responsible for the delivery of full range of
reliability technician services to businesses in the food manufacture sector including
Fonterra, Alto Plastics and Evonic.
Assisted with general business operations including recruitment.
Air National, Auckland
Air National operated from 1990 to 2012 as a privately owned Auckland based airline.
With up to 50 staff, they operated domestic and international charter services and
scheduled passenger services for Air New Zealand Link.
Contract Engineer 2010 – 2011
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, undertook full range of aircraft maintenance
and repair activities on a BAE 146 aircraft and four Jetstream 32 aircraft.

Basketique has been operating in Hamilton since 1995 with my partner and I purchasing
it in 2002. I contributed to daily operations and management until 2006 when I returned
to the aviation sector. With up to eight staff, we supply gifts, gourmet foods, flowers,
wine and gift baskets to customers via a retail shop and online business. Previously, we
held contracts with all Countdown supermarkets and Farmers stores throughout New
Zealand and Waikato liquor stores.
