EFFICIENCY PROJECT MANAGER, KCA Deutag (2015- Present)
This is currently a dual role with the Country Supply Manager position.
Responsibility for reviewing all Supply Chain and Operations practices and identifying process and cost
efficiencies. Improving process and lead times whilst looking to reduce the landed costs to Operations
departments globally. A critical role in the current O&G environment to right size the company
administrative burden and economically efficient in the current market.
COUNTRY SUPPLY MANAGER, KCA Deutag (2014 – Present)
Rotational position in Algeria with responsibility for all supply chain activities in expanding land rig
operations. Developing local personnel in all Supply Chain disciplines. Harmonising local process
requirements whilst complying with corporate and international process and procedures. Identifying and
implementing contract opportunities to ensure quality supply locally for the Operation. Managing the
restructuring during the oil market downturn and maintaining service improvement and significant cost
reductions to clients.
PROCUREMENT MANAGER, KCA/WorleyParsons (2014)
Residential position in Canada seconded to Worley Parsons on the Hebron Project to manage the
procurement of engineering equipment packages for the engineering, procurement & construction
contract. Responsibility for the purchase, progress and delivery of packages totalling around $350M and
ensuring successful, timely delivery and close out of the orders and certification requirements. Reporting
directly to the client Exxon Mobil and Worley Parsons achieving milestone requirements, avoiding delays
and penalties. Managing the purchasing team and fifty major equipment purchasing packages to achieve
delivery compliant with all Canadian legislation.
BULK PACKAGE DELIVERY LEAD, KCA Deutag Canada (2012 – 2013)
Residential position in Canada managing bulk package procurement execution and delivery. Spare parts
inventory development and project package management for all the equipment packages. Co-ordinating
the Supply Chain and Engineering department activities to manage communication, reporting and
deliverables.
COUNTRY SUPPLY MANAGER, KCA Deutag GMBH (2011 – 2012)
Residential position in Libya with responsibility for all supply chain activities in expanding land rig
operations. Developing local personnel in all Supply Chain disciplines. Harmonising local process
requirements whilst complying with corporate and international process and procedures. Identifying and
implementing contract opportunities to ensure quality supply locally for the Operation. Progress was
interrupted due to Civil Unrest in 2011, transferred to Russia to undertake similar role.
PROJECT SUPPLY CHAIN LEAD, KCA Deutag (2009 – 2010)
Rotational position in South Africa with responsibility for co-ordination of all Supply Chain activities for
refit of Tender Barge Cape Town Dock. Maintaining schedule requirements and developing local Supply
Chain. Assigned to various other roles auditing, training and process improvement in other Operations.
PURCHASING MANAGER, ABSL Power Solutions (2009, Maternity Cover)
Responsibility for purchasing for cell/battery manufacturer supplying various commercial and government
contracts. Purchasing strategy was to suit production lines and cash flow to satisfy scheduling, interrogate
anticipate and resolve any component issues.

2. SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGER, RBG Ltd (2008 – 2009)
Implementing process and procedure to an unstructured supply process and also successfully managing
and administrating the Supply Chain function for various value Oil & Gas fabrication projects.
Management of purchasing and materials personnel for all issues. Training of all personnel in the
procurement function and enforcement of the procedures assisted developing the department into the
focus of the business producing key cost delivery, quality benefits and improved cash management.
MATERIALS LEAD, KCA Deutag (2008)
Rotational position in Angola to co-ordinate all logistics and materials requirements for drilling barge
based in West Africa. Responsibility for all materials employees and operations ensuring reliable services
to crews. Role included cost control, material identification and tracking, customs and sourcing.
PROCUREMENT CO-ORDINATOR, KCA Deutag (2007 – 2008)
Co-ordinating all commercial requirements for rigs in West Africa and Mexico. Developing relationships
with customers, suppliers and freight forwarders, nationally and internationally. Role required good
organisational skills to manage international Supply Chain and client satisfaction. High pressure, fast
changing environment made it an exciting and enjoyable challenge.
SENIOR BUYER, SAIC Ltd (1996 to 2007)
Employed initially as a Procurement Officer, involved in general buying, administration, expediting and
logistics, for onshore and offshore requirements. Promoted to Senior Buyer in 1998 to manage buyers,
stores, out-sourced purchasing contracts and develop department process and procedures. Key
requirements involved developing, negotiating and administering Purchase Orders, Subcontracts and
Agreements of high value, risk and complexity to support all business functions.

Responsible for day to day office services and administration requirements for four large offices servicing
around 800 personnel.

Employed initially as an Apprentice Insulation Engineer attending Cardonald College in Glasgow. In 1989
trained as a Technical Assistant and worked in various departments on site including Engineering, Design
