Светител Теофан Затворник Вишенски
Светителят Теофан (Говоров), Затворник Вишенски (1815-1894), е истински светилник на Православието.
Трудовете му по тълкуване на Свещеното Писание, аскетическите съчинения, духовните писма,
наставленията и проповедите и до днес просвещават душите на хората и ги насочват към спасение.
Във втория том от трилогията “Изложение на християнското правоучение”, която светителят съставил още
приживе въз основа на свои трудове, публикувани в списание “Домашная беседа”, са включени книгите
“Пътят към спасението”, “Писма за християнския живот” и “Поучения”.
В “Пътят към спасението” се разглеждат степените на развитие на християнския живот в нас, “които по
свойствата си могат да бъдат наречени така: обръщане към Бога, изправяне на себе си, очистване и
освещаване” - е написал светителят. Книгата представлява едно задълбочено изследване и много ценно
ръководство за духовен живот - това е плод на духовния опит, който архипастирят щедро дарява на
