William Shakespeare was born in 1564 in Stratford-Upon-Avon and died in 1616. He married Anne Hathaway at age 18 and had three children, though his son Hamnet died in 1596 at age 11. Between 1585-1592, known as Shakespeare's "Lost Years", he left his family and arrived in London, where he had already made a name for himself as a playwright and actor by 1592. He went on to write 37 plays and 154 sonnets, becoming a wealthy and famous man as the lead playwright and owner of The Lord Chamberlain's Men and The King's Men theatre companies, and co-owner of The Globe theatre. Though details of his personal life are
