1. Labelle High School<br />Junior News<br />Volume 1/Issue1<br />Ten days down, 170 to go!<br />The first two weeks of school are history, and it's time to look forward to the rest of the year. By now you should have your schedules straight, so you can start thinking about how you can get involved in your school.<br />As Juniors, you'll find new opportunities as well as responsibilities at LaBelle High School. Traditionally, the Junior class plans the Fall Homecoming Weekend festivities and sponsors the December toy drive. Anyone interested in helping organize these events should get in touch with Mrs. Rivera, the Junior Class advisor, in room 209.<br />Last spring you elected the following class officers:<br />President: Cathy Adams<br />Vice President: Adrienne Johnson<br />Secretary: Amanda Haley<br />Treasurer: Lynne Golden<br />Class Officers meetings are held on the first Tuesday of every month in room 119 during H period, and they are open to the public. Your participation is welcome.<br />Back to School Night<br />Tour guides are needed for back to school night on September 18. Guides will meet at 5:45 in the cafeteria and will help direct parents and other visitors around the school. If you are available, let Mrs. Blake in the Guidance Office know as soon as possible.<br />TV Producers Needed<br />1743075169545<br />MPS-TV, the school's closed circuit television station, is looking for volunteers to help tape school events throughout the year. Opportunities for developing and producing original programming will be available as well. NO EXPERIENCE IS NECESSARY. Training will be provided. If you are interested, contact Barbara Mehaffey in room 324.<br />Submissions Requested<br />The Junior Class Newsletter will be published during the second week of each month throughout the school year. Place all notices and announcements in the Junior Newsletter mail box in the school office. Items submitted without a name will be tossed!<br />
