greater ownership for their work,

and weaknesses of followers; and
 aligns the followers with tasks
that enhance their performance.
Transformational leadership
includes connecting the
follower’s sense of identity and
self to the project and the
collective identity of the
organization.
Both servant and
transformational leaders:
 are effective mentors;
 have strong communication
and listening skills realizing;
 see empathy in the
understanding of feelings
and perspectives;
 see the bigger picture and
how they can help the
organization realize that
vision;
 have the commitment to
