Content Analysis
In ‘Gullivers Travels’ , Jonathan Swift narrates the adventure of a ship’s surgeon
named Gulliver. First two paragraphs deal with the adventure he had to face during his first
voyage to South Sea in a ship named Antelope.

Teacher establishes rapport with the learners by indulging in some casual talk.

*Teacher then shows some interesting film clippings from the movie Gullivers Travel(2010) .
*Teacher then starts reading the first two paragraphs of the lesson with correct pronunciation,
stress and intonation.

*Teacher asks the learners to read the two paragraphs silently and mark the difficult words.
*Teacher then gives the meanings of the difficult words using different techniques.
