Preparation for Exam Question 1a: Lesson 2
KEY CONCEPT POINTS:
 For you to think about the question: “Have I become more
creative?”
 To get you to think about how you used the technology in AS
and A2 to become creative.
 To compare how your creativity has developed from AS to A2.
 To think about how you might creatively challenge conventions
or replicate them.
 How you used the restrictions of the task/brief to become more
creative.
SECTION A: Theoretical Evaluation of Production
1 (a) Explain how you developed your skills in the use of digital
technology for media production and evaluate how these skills
contributed to your creative decision making. Refer to a range of
examples in your answer to show how these skills developed over
time. [25]
Example Exam Question
You may want to write the question down and familiarise yourself
with it.
LESSON TASKS:
 Create a PREZZI (presentation) on how they feel
they have been creativity has developed from AS to
A2 between 3 – 5 (30 min)
 Students present back their Prezzi – You may want
to take notes on anything you feel you may have
missed (20 min)
HOMEWORK TASK:
 There is no homework but if you wish to test
yourself you could try planning your answer to the
example exam question.

KEY CONCEPT POINTS:  For you to think about the question: “Have I become more creative?”  To get you to think about how you used the technology in AS and A2 to become creative.  To compare how your creativity has developed from AS to A2.  To think about how you might creatively challenge conventions or replicate them.  How you used the restrictions of the task/brief to become more creative.
  • 3. SECTION A: Theoretical Evaluation of Production 1 (a) Explain how you developed your skills in the use of digital technology for media production and evaluate how these skills contributed to your creative decision making. Refer to a range of examples in your answer to show how these skills developed over time. [25] Example Exam Question You may want to write the question down and familiarise yourself with it.
  • 4. LESSON TASKS:  Create a PREZZI (presentation) on how they feel they have been creativity has developed from AS to A2 between 3 – 5 (30 min)  Students present back their Prezzi – You may want to take notes on anything you feel you may have missed (20 min)
  • 5. HOMEWORK TASK:  There is no homework but if you wish to test yourself you could try planning your answer to the example exam question.
