2. Location Scouting
We two possible locations for
shooting. Since our film only takes
place in one location it was fairly
easy for us to find these locations.

3. Location Scouting
Final Option:
Due to our film being minimalistic
and focused on the characters we
thought this apartment best
conveyed the mood of the film. This
location compliments the characters
well and the tones will match with
the costumes, overall creating an
aesthetically pleasing mise-en-scene.

For Priscilla we had two possible
actresses. Mila Habek looked older
for her age. Seeing as Priscilla is in her
early twenties she would’ve been a
good choice but was less experienced
than Mia Trifunovic when it came to
acting and media. Therefore we
believed that Mia’s aesthetic matched
Priscilla’s and managed to portray
Priscilla very well in the casting. For
this reason we decided to go with Mia
as Priscilla as she is a good actress and
also experienced with technical
aspects of media.

Dea Helc, although having the
knowledge and the experience, did not
match Julia’s aesthetic and personality.
Dea wasn’t always available for filming
which would make the filming process
more difficult and lengthy. Therefore we
decided to go with Anastasia Popovic.
She matched the filming schedule better
and had the look we envisioned for Julia.
Anastasia was also eager to learn and
had a passion for acting, proving to us
that she would do her best on set and
make the filming process smoother.

6. Make Up
Priscilla
JuliaFor Priscilla’s
make up we took
inspiration from
the TV show
Euphoria as we
believed it best
portrayed her
personality.
For Julia’s
makeup we
picked a mix
of natural
and bold
makeup that
conveyed
her maturity.

7. Wardrobe
For Julia’s costume we felt
like a suit would help
establish her aesthetic and
attitude as a character.
Priscilla’s wardrobe was
inspired by the use of fur
and excessive jewelry along
with mixed and matched
textures. We believed this
would help portray her
creative and dramatic
personality.
