The document describes the production of a double page magazine spread in Quark about an upcoming artist. The author inserted a main image across one whole page and wrote an article about the artist. Text was drawn into boxes across three columns and linked together for easier reading. A title was added using the insert text tool that promoted the article's story. Pull quotes from the article in bigger font were used to engage readers.

I started my double page spread by using the picture box
tool to insert my main image. I made the image go across
one whole page as most magazines do this as a pull-out
poster page.

I wrote an article about this upcoming artist. I then used
the text tool to draw boxes across three columns and
copied the text from the word document and pasted it into
the first box. I then used the linking tool to fit all of the text
into the rest of the columns. This makes the text easier to
read and makes it look more professional.

I then added my title using the insert text tool. I used
this as my article title because it is what the article
promotes and is part of the story that is told in this
article. I also took parts of the article and put them in
a bigger font to make pull quotes. I used parts of the
story that don't seem like they come together to
make a whole story to engage readers.
