The document describes a student's use of Quark software to create a contents page for a school magazine. The student used picture boxes to add images of herself and the magazine cover. Text boxes were also used to list story details and a linking tool moved text between columns when it did not fit in one box. The contents page included images and numbered stories as is typical.

2. I used the picture box tool to put an image of
myself onto the contents page by the editors
letter. An image of the front cover of my
school magazine was also put onto the
contents page by using a picture box tool.
Contents pages usually have an image of the
front cover on them and number the smaller
images to show what pages these stories are
on.

page. I then used the
linking tool to move my text
that wouldn’t fit in one box
over to another column.
