The author was initially uninterested in science as a child but developed an interest in 6th grade during a hands-on experiment raising quails. In 8th grade, a physical science class sparked a fascination with atoms and chemistry experiments. In high school, the author's chemistry teacher made the subject exciting and inspired them to major in chemistry. The teacher encouraged out-of-class learning experiences that deepened the author's passion for chemistry. Currently working at a planetarium, the author looks forward to sparking students' curiosity and making science fun to learn.
