We are from Emblem of

of Poland.
It is about 25 km
from the Baltic Pszczółki in English
Sea means „ little bees”.

Our school is called
Bohaterow Ziemi
Gdanskiej Primary
School.
It was built in 1964.
It is big and bright.
There are about 610
students (aged 5 –13)
and 53 teachers.
5. School life
The school year starts on 1st September
and finishes at the end of June. It has two
terms. Between them we have a two-week
winter break.
Lessons start at 8 a.m. and finish at 1.30 p.m.
We have 10 min. breaks between the lessons
and two 15 min. breaks for breakfast and lunch.

In 2006 - a project about Italian and Polish
lighthouses. Our partner school was from Policoro,
Italy.
In 2007 - a project „Welcome to my school, town
and region”. The partner school was from
Kaisiadorys, Lithuania.
In 2012 – „Streets of History” with school
from Ponte San Pietro, Italy.
o In 2012 – „Olimpic games” – with the UK and Italy.
11. Comenius projects
Our school has been
taking part in Comenius
projects since 2006.
The first partners were
primary schools from the
UK, Iceland and the
Czech Republic. The
project was about myths
and legends.
12. In September 2009 we coordinated a new project
with schools from: Greece, Italy, Spain and
Turkey. It was about our schools, towns
and regions.
13. Our new project is „Our Lives by the Sea” with:
Denmark, France, Greece, Italy, Spain,Turkey
and the UK.
