3. This is our school, which is called Technical School number 1. It is
located at 5 Kościuszki street in the centre of Rybnik. It is one of the
best technical schools in the whole city.

as minery, electrical, mechatronic and logistic.

5. This is the picture of our school's patron-Stanisław Staszic, who
was a famous philosopher, poet and a geologist.

6. STUDENTS'WORKS
Fantasy exhibition- There are many competitions organized in our
school, not only vocational ones, but also artistic ones. Here we can
see an exhibition of students' works created for the fantasy
competition.

7. TROPHY
Our students are very successful in the sports field. They take part
in many copmetitions, such as football, volleyball and many more.

8. ADIT
Behind school there is a real adit, where young miners practise
for their future job. Next to it, there is a workshop, where future
car mechanics can learn how to repair cars.

We can find a car here, which is used as a model for students to
practise their skills.

Information Technology classroom- there are 6 IT classrooms,
where students are taught how to create graphics, programming
and administration.

14. ROBOTIC TOURNAMENT
There is the International Robotic Tournament organized in our
school. It was started by our students and bacame popular among
students and teachers from entire Europe.

In our canteen we can eat home-made dishes in a great
atmosphere with a very kind service.

There is a library, where students can find a lot of interesting
books. They can also use the Internet if they need to prepare
some essays.

We have a traditional Silesian museum in our school, where many
Silesian outfits, souvenirs and symbols of heritage can be seen.

20. RUBIK'S CUBE COMPETITION
Last year in our school Rubik’s cube competition took place.
Many people came to solve cubes not only from Poland but also
from other countries of Europe.

21. REGIONAL STANDS
Every year we celebrate a regional week, when students focus
on their Silesian heritage. One of such elements are regional
stands, where traditional Silesian cuisine and customs are
shown.

22. TSURU – JAPAN’S FAN CONVENTION
At this convention all fans of Japanese culture can share their
interests and enjoy workshops about Japanese drawing, dance,
music and many more.

23. ST. BARBARA'S DAY
Every year we celebrate St. Barbara's day- she is the patron of
miners. On that day we organize a special performance, where
students present their Silesian heritage and tradition.
