Fingertips ' Fingertips' raises the creativity hidden inside our children. Our main objective is to support the creativity and social growth of our children by using their fingers. We aim to guide students to sports, art and craft activities and to the games which they are about to forget. We want to draw them away from negative effects of technology and guide them to positive effects of it. Our Project intends to bring together different colours, tunes, looks and senses of Europe. This project will be a harmony of these different voices. We also want to involve a wide variety of people. Fingertips
It is a European project, between schools, which aims, through the eyes of the students, to collect the significant elements of each nation. The countries involved are: Estonia, Latvia, Norway, Poland and Portugal. The main goal is to develop creativity and the socialization of children, fostering respect and tolerance for other cultures. All students will have to represent the silhouette of their hands, then cut it and work it on both sides. The "hands" after completion, will be sent to Estonia, which will be responsible to build a giant tree and place the hands of all countries involved. Each hand will be the hand from a student, therefore, a "sheet" of the tree. Subject: Arts and drawing Classes 7ºB e 7ºC
Fingertips This project has been prepared mostly by the opinions of students. We asked them what they could do with their fingertips and how they could reflect their country through their eyes. Their answers directed us to perform these tasks: Map and calendar making; national folk dances; music; art craft and food; traditional children games and toys; photo album; recycled school objects; school gardening; scrapbooking; paper dolls; puppet theatre…
