Arthritis And Treatment Of Rheumatoid Arthritis Essay
Rheumatoid arthritis is one of the incurable diseases and turns chronic with progressive inflammatory
of the synovial lining of peripheral joins. It is characterized by symmetric, chronic, and deforming
polyatrhitis that causes long term joint disability when not controlled early. Considering there is no
cure for this disease, management focuses on pain and inflammation reduction in order to prevent
destruction of joints while at the same time preserving and improving on the functionality of the
patient (Varatharajan et al, 2009).
The type of treatment chosen depends on the type of arthritis and the effects it has on the patient as
well as the severity of the disease. Other factors to consider are the age of the patient and the joints
affected. Bearing in mind that different people exhibit different reactions to different medications,
treatment in this case is individualized but includes a combination of joint protection methods and
medication. For rheumatoid arthritis, the Initial treatment starts with non steroidal ant inflammatory
drugs and other simple analgesic but as the inflammation progresses, slow acting anti rheumatoid
drugs which are aimed at modifying the disease are introduced. They are added progressively as the
inflammation progresses in order to suppress the process that leads to chronic inflammation (Amin
1995).
After the analgesics or the non steroidal anti inflammatory drug commonly referred to as (NSAIDs)
have proven non responsive, disease modifying

I. A Worldview is an idea way a person or people see and consider their way of living in the world and

Christianity believes and teaches that humans were created for the good by God. By sin and through
grace. Reconciled, men and women discover themselves to exist in order to know God, to His will, to

That s our purpose. (Genesis 1:27) to serve our Lord and Creator and to obey by his rules and existing.

Differences Of Edgar Allan Poe, Hawthorne And Washington...
Poe, Hawthorne, and Irving
A light switch is either on or off; in a sports match, a team either wins or loses; water is either hot or
cold; people are wealthy or poor; thin or fat; muggle or wizard, Dr. Jekyll or Mr. Hyde. These are
examples of binary opposites. Rational and irrational thinking are binary opposites meaning that they
are concepts that cannot coexist. However, many of the authors that we have read about push the
boundaries of this concept. They force our minds to look at the gray areas instead of just black and
white and to reflect on reality vs fantasy. They bring the unknown, the fears, and the unaccepted into
our world. These authors mix true events with things that they couldn t know so they made them up.
Edgar Allan Poe, Nathaniel Hawthorne, and Washington Irving are well known authors of American
Romanticism. They are also all known for pushing these boundaries through their creative writing
styles. The Romantic Movement, as generally agreed by most scholars, focuses on the individual, the
subjective, and the spontaneous (Pennell, 2006, 2). Romantics encouraged contemplation and self
awareness, direct contact with nature, and a focus on and an exploration of inner feelings.
Edgar Allan Poe born in Boston January 19, 1809. Poe s parents both died before his third birthday.
He was raised by his foster parents John and Frances Allan in Richmond, Virginia. After Poe enlisted
in the Army his first collection of poems was published, followed by his second

Analysis Of Jack And Hey Babe
Jack comes out of nowhere and greets me with a, Hey babe. I jolted half a mile and slammed my
locker shut. Jesus christ Jack! You frightened me! He stared at me in bewilderment. Lisa, are you
okay? Why are you so jumpy? Sorry, i didn t get any Lisa! Jack! We both turned around to see Susan,
chelsia, and their boyfriends Derek and Aiden calling our names. Hey girls whats up? I asked them.
Chelsia went first. So we all know that Halloween is Friday right? I nodded my head. Well we want to

Why is she not in class? Before i got a chance to speak Jack raised his hand and asked to use the

Tabitha? I asked. Everyone in the classroom looked at me in bewilderment. who? said Aiden, Derek,

lab 1 interreach variability Essay
Interreach variability and correlation analyses between biotic and abiotic factors of the Old Chelsea

Department of Biology
Hypotheses
Water quality parameters such as pH, dissolved oxygen, seston, water temperature etc. are important
variables in the abundance and diversity of benthic macroinvertebrates of the Old Chelsea stream.
Therefore, it can be hypothesized that pH and dissolved oxygen have a direct correlation on biotic
factors within the stream. Furthermore, due to the surface water velocity variations of the stream, it is
hypothesized that water pH and dissolved oxygen interreach variability is statistically significant.
Results
Note that for figures 1 and 2, the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
In figure 2, we observe that dissolved oxygen levels are higher in site 2 compared to site 1 and that
variations within the same site are rather small. Lastly, both figure 1 and figure 2 show slightly higher
elevations of both pH and dissolved oxygen at the 3rd location of sampling. In figure 3, we observe a
significant correlation between pH and Simpson s Diversity Index where it can be noted that the
higher the level of pH, the higher the diversity index. In figure 4, we observe an unsupported
correlation between pH and total taxa. Henceforth, total taxa does not depend on pH levels. In figure
5, an unsupported correlation between is observed between dissolved oxygen and Simpson s Diversity
Index. In figure 6, an unsupported correlation is observed between dissolved oxygen and total taxa. As
in figure 4, it can be concluded from these observations that total taxa does not depend on dissolved
oxygen levels in the water. In figure 7, it is observed that the percent relative abundance of taxa at site
1 does not share a particular link with the percent relative abundance of taxa at site 2. Furthermore,
different taxa are shown to be dominant for both sites. Ephemeroptera and Odonata are the only taxa
shared by both sites according to this figure. In table 1, the most prominent statistical conclusion was
failure to reject the null hypothesis, that the variability of abiotic factors (pH and dissolved oxygen)

The Effect Of Detrital Zircon Dating On South Australia
Introduction
With the use of detrital zircon dating, and minor use of authigenic monazite dating, estimations of age
constraints can be applied to the Proterozoic basins on the south Australian island, Tasmania. Zircon
minerals occur as a trace component in many sedimentary rocks. Therefore due to its widespread
occurrence and its relative resistance to both mechanical and chemical weathering, which enhances its
chance of survival through processes of transportation, dating methods through zircon minerals have
become a standard for dating sedimentary basins (Black et al).
The Rocky Cape Group of northwest Tasmania provides an insight into the record of the passive
margin sedimentation and has the potential to constrain Tasmania s position historically within the
meso neoproterozoic supercontinent reconstructions (Halpin).
A number of studies have been conducted such as Black et al (2004) Berry et al (2008) and Halpin et
al (2014), mainly on the Western Tasmanian Terrane, in an effort to constrain a position in past
supercontinent amalgamations and to challenge the hypothesis of many supercontinent models such as
SWEAT and AUSWUS that Tasmania was positioned in close proximity to the past North American
continent, Laurentia.
Geologic Setting

origins that outcrop predominetly in the north western regions of Tasmania. The depositional history

Civic Mirror
While it s true I had a blast using the Civic Mirror, and as much as it taught me about how Parliament
passes laws and the political process, it has some serious omissions: there is no Governor General,
there is only one level of government, and there is no Senate.
The Governor General in Canada represents the Monarch (Queen Elizabeth II) and acts as the Head of
State (the highest ranking position in a sovereign state) in Canada and abroad. This is a significant
position because it is the highest position in Canada and because it represents the Monarch, which has
the highest authority. Personally, I do not think this is a position that needs to be included in Civic
Mirror. Firstly, there is no Monarch in Civic Mirror. However, for the purpose of the game, the
Governor General could act on his own without the Monarch, but that wouldn t be as accurate to real
life. Plus, what would ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
This level, as it is named, deals with laws that affect Provinces or Territories. This level usually is
involved with health care, education, natural resources and road regulations. The significance of this
level is second to Federal government, but should not be ignored. This level controls entire provinces,
including the cities within them. Now, Civic Mirror isn t large enough to effectively support
provinces, and so a provincial government wouldn t really fit in a classroom. However, if a much
larger scale version of Civic Mirror was developed... Again I ll get to that at the end of this review.
Last but not least is the Municipal government. The Municipal government has everything to do with
cities, towns or districts (municipalities). Municipal government is responsible for parks, libraries,
water systems, local police, roadways and parking. Municipal may be the lowest scale level of
government but some things they are responsible have the potential to affect many citizens more

The United Kingdom Period Of Israel
The history of the United Kingdom period in Israel focuses on a few main characters, namely, Saul,
David and Solomon. However the story begins with the life of Samuel who was a prophet, priest, and
the last judge of Israel. Samuel was unique in that he was set apart for God from birth and had been
called by God from a young age. Samuel was the spiritual leader prior to the Kingship of Israel.
Samuel listened to God and obeyed Him only. In the early United Kingdom period Samuel is the
chosen voice of God who shows God s will. However, Samuel was aging and the people were restless.
The time of transition from the Judges to the time of the first Kings of a united Israel was chaotic. The
transition begins due to the failures of Samuel ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
That is not to say that Saul was evil; many of Saul s early actions seem God fearing. Saul appears for
the first time in the story as a shy young man but he grows to be strong. However, as time goes on,
Saul put other things before God and trusted in his own wisdom and strength instead of God s words
through Samuel. Ming Him Ko describes how the central sin of Saul was the disobedience of God s
commandments. Saul s heart was not in the right place and Saul was ultimately rejected by God
because of his disobedience. Saul was shown to be the disobedient King who ruled under God s
displeasure throughout 1 Samuel.
God shows that even in His displeasure he takes care of His people. God chose to take what was bad
and use it for His glory. He judged the people and not the institution of the Kingship. (Bruce Birch).
When God rejected the Kingship of Saul God directed Samuel to anoint the King that God had chosen
to lead the people, David. David would never have been chosen by the people. He was the youngest
son in his family good only for tending the sheep. However, God had greater purposes. Through the
demise of Saul and the rise of unlikely David God would show His glory to the people. God revealed
that even though the people had rejected Him He would chase after their hearts until He regained
them.

Philip Graham Ryken Chapter Summary
I like and enjoyed reading on Philip Graham Ryken writing from a very conservatives point of view
and his encouragement to the readers to return to the pillars of faith the church once held dear (in the
first century).
Ryken starts his book with an introduction to postmodernism and identifies these post Christian times
as being characterized by relativism and narcissism which is pretty much true in these modern days.
From a very conservative point of view Ryken said in order to fight against these modern day
contemporary churches which are being characterized by relativism and narcissism and to be a remedy
to society, churches need to return to the model of the 1st century church a church that was modeled
on teaching, worshiping and caring.
Agreement: I am in very much agreement with Ryken s identification on seven objectives for the
church: expository preaching, worthy worship, Bible study and fellowship, pastoral care, educational
programs, missionary work and service to the church and community. Each of these objectives forms a
chapter in the book. I enjoy reading and learning from each of the chapter and appreciate very much
for the author s characterization on church and works. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
I am also very much in agreement with with Ryken when he talks about a post Christian culture

about the individual. Church becomes a place where needs are met rather than a place where God is
worshiped. He also teaches that we need a theology of worship to guide our practice so that we can

The Pros And Cons Of Quebec Nationalism
When you hear the term Quebec Nationalism, what do you think of? A province that has a distinct
language and culture, or one that wishes to separate from Canada, or both? The issue I would like to
talk about is Quebec nationalism, is it compatible or incompatible with a pan Canadian nationalism, or
multiculturalism and should they or should they not separate from Canada. In my opinion, while not
experiencing French Canadian life, although another of my family members has, I feel that Quebec
Nationalism is not compatible with the rest of Canada, but we are the only thing they have, and if
Canada lets them go, they will not have enough resources politically, monetarily, or military, since
most of this is supplied to Quebec from the rest of Canada. Since Quebec s defeat in the Rebellion of
1837, many Quebecois feel that they have been subject to Anglophone domination from the rest of
Canada (Lamrick, 2015). Many of the French speaking citizens are also not willing to be compatible
with the rest of Canada s multicultural society. There is no reason, though, to throw all the other
willing French Canadians that want to be compatible under the bus. ... Show more content on

Physics of Boating Essay
The first thing you should know is the physics behind a boat, seeing how you can t have a boating
adventure without one. To keep it simple, let s check out the main thing you should know about a
boat: Buoyancy. Buoyancy, by definition, is the upward force exerted by a liquid on any immersed
object. If the force of the liquid on the object is greater than that of the object on the liquid then the
object will float. In other words buoyancy is dependent upon the density of the liquid and the volume
of the object submerged.
Buoyancy:
Fb= d*g*V
Where Fb= the magnitude of the buoyant force
d= density of the liquid, g= force of gravity (9.8 m/s^2), V= volume of the submerged object

237) Translation: The tides are caused by the gravitational attraction between the earth and moon.
There are two low tides and two high tides each day. Low tide is when you smell dead fish. High tide
is when the smell is somewhat less stinky.
The bald eagle is not an uncommon sight when boating in Southeast Alaska. It is a massive bird that
flies with the greatest of ease. Lets take a look at the casually oversimplified physics behind the flight
of a bird. Basically, birds wings are not flat but are shaped like an aerofoil. Air passes over or under
the wing as the bird moves forward, or as the wind blows. The air that moves over the top of the wing
has further to travel to get across the wing, thus it speeds up. This causes the pressure to drop because
the same amount of air is exerting its pressure over a greater area. Therefore, any given point
experiences less pressure. This effectively sucks the wing up. Meanwhile the air going below the wing
experiences the opposite effect. It slows down, generates more pressure and effectively pushes the
wing up. Hence a bird with air moving over its wings is pulled up from above and pushed up from
below.

Major Problems With American Popular Culture Chapter 3...
Chapter 3 in Major Problems with American Popular Culture discusses the meaning and purposes of
popular culture in the 19th century American society. The text presents a variety of materials attributed
to America popular culture of that time, such as accounts of Fejee Mermaid exposition, extracts from
the 19th century Shakespeare s adaptations and the eyewitness testimony of the Astor Place Riot in
1849. Furthermore, the YouTube video sources discuss the concept of imagined community, first
suggested by Benedict Anderson. Imagined community is discussed in the light of popular culture,
which becomes an alternative instrument of imagining communities with the emergence of different
types of media, it being film, theatre, news or internet. Interestingly, the 19th century American theatre
and its public was a powerful representation of the existing society, notably, not only within America
but also inclusive of the British who were a part of American theatre world. This is a good example of
the expansion of the imagined community beyond just an idea of the nation. Theatre becomes an art
community on its own, which is clear from the argument of Lawrence W. Levine, who writes: At the

unity of theatrical space. This community expands again to those identifying with high art and popular
art , of which Levine says: Theatre no longer functioned as a cultural form that embodied all classes

The castle itself also proved to have some magical presence to it, mainly because it was forged by ,
Merlin, the wizard adviser of King Arthur. The castle served as headquarters for King Arthur and his
knights as well. A special hall held the Round Table, where Arthur and the knights would plan their
campaigns. The hall also contained lifelike statues of the twelve kings who had tried to overthrow
Arthur. All had been defeated by him and were buried at Camelot. Each statue had a lighted candle.
According to Merlin, the candles would stay lit until the Holy Grail the cup from which Jesus drank at
the Last Supper was found and brought to Camelot. It was from Camelot that the knights rode out to
perform good deeds and to search for the Holy Grail. (Camelot Vol. 2). As the king of Camelot king
Arthur and his men protected his reign of power against twelve kings who had wished to overthrow
him. Maybe they believe he was too weak to maintain power over his glorious kingdom.
Consequentially, that belief resulted in their downfall. During the reign of King Arthur his form of

Essay about Analysis of Beethoven Symphony 3 and Mozart...
Beethoven Symphony No. 3 and Mozart Symphony 40 Forms
Sonata form is one of the more popular forms of music that is found in a variety of different works
including symphonies, concertos, and sonatas. Sonata form features three distinct sections: the
exposition, development, and recapitulation. Mozart was one of the early composers of this form of
music. I will examine the clear distinctions between each section and how he does not stray from the
typical form. In later years the form would change to become more fluent and focused on the growth
and expansion of the piece. This progression of change was led by the works of Beethoven and the
changes can be clearly seen in his grandiose works. By comparing the first movement of Symphony ...

The recapitulation is much like the exposition, except it does not modulate. All of these sections can
be seen in the Mozart and Beethoven movements that are being analyzed and relatively easy to
identify. In the Mozart symphony, sections defined by strong cadences. An easy example would be at
the end of the exposition where there is a PAC in ms. 99. Following that is a rest and then an
appearance of F sharp minor. This is the beginning of the development. The end of the development
ends with a huge forte with a pedal tone and a cadence at ms. 160. The wind section quietly brings the
section to a close as the strings reintroduce the primary theme back in the original key of G minor.
These large sections are not likely to be mistaken. Beethoven too has clearly defined the large sections
of the sonata form. His exposition begins after two opening chords with the theme in the cello section.
The exposition closes with full orchestral chords in a perfect authentic cadence around ms. 144 148
and after a short link/transition the development begins at ms. 166. The development closes with huge
orchestral chords. The big pictures for Mozart and Beethoven line up, but a closer and deeper look
reveal that the small sections are quite different. Mozart s smaller sections continue to remain clearly
defined, but Beethoven tends to blur it all together. In a typical exposition, we expect to find

Virtual Reality By Morton Heilig
Virtual reality is a computer generated three dimensional environment that allows interaction. This
field of digital art was originally explored and created by Morton Heilig, who thought of extending the
cinematic experience to something that would involve the human senses and enable them to interact
with it. Nevertheless, many artists contributed to the development of the virtual reality afterwards.
Scott Fisher, who was inspired by Heilig s ideas, pushed the boundaries of the virtual reality, to give
the user more control over his experience. In this essay, I will be comparing between the two artists
and their ideas, and the way they contributed to the creation and development of this form of art.

Morton Heilig was the first to explore the concept of virtual reality, and is considered to be the father

Repentances, seems to agree with the first option. The image of God within this novel demands very
strict guidelines. Due to these guidelines this image seems to discriminate against others who are not
perfect in their eyes. If a person does not meet the requirements dictated by the image of God as stated
within Nicholson s Repentances, they face grave consequences. In order to not serve these
consequences, they must keep their flaws/blemishes secretive and this leads to conflicts. While other
characters cause problems for others about the image of God. In The Chrysalids by John Wyndham
the characters David Strorm, Sophie Wender, and Joseph Strorm all have conflicts created for/by them
surrounding the topic of the image of God as reflected in Nicholson s repentances.
To begin, David has different conflicts created for him throughout this text about the image of God as
reflected in Nicholson s Repentances. His problem is the fact that he is telepathic. Within the
repentances it does not say anything about being telepathic, thus deeming him a deviant within
waknukian beliefs. However since nobody knows about this flaw/blemish he must constantly keep this
a secret. An example is during David s and Uncle Axel s conversation when Uncle Axel says, I want

Dale A Jerk Analysis
Dale is a human being, like anyone else. However, he s a bit different from others. He s the kind of
person that cuts in line or the kind that vents his tantrum to his partner. We call these people: jerks. So
is Dale a jerk? A jerk is an individual that is foolish, naive, egotistical, as well as unjust. Here I ll be
explaining the views of Schwitzgebel, Polemarchus, and Thrasymachus of being a jerk. Schwitzgebel
defines a jerk as being ignorant of their self serving tendencies. An example of this is parking in two
spots in a lot, disregarding other people s need to park as well. A jerk would not know that their selfish
actions would affect others, therefore they do not know that they are a jerk themselves. Not only do
they lack attention to other s well being, they also tend to view other s in a negative light. As
Schwitzgebel said, Jerks see the world through goggles that dim others humanity. Surrounded by
fools, creeps, stuck up snobs, smug assholes, and, of course, jerks, Schwitzgebel associates this view
as a jerk s view; as most of the world do not see people negatively. Thus, Dale s lashing out on his
partner and his glares at his neighbors ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Polemarchus speaks of justice in The Republic as someone who helps a friend and does harm to those
who are their enemies, including giving everyone their due (p. 711). Socrates does refute that it is
never right to harm anyone, (p. 713) and it s unjust to render whatever is due to enemies (p, 711) if
they mean to do harm meaning to give back ownership of something a person had, letting them harm
another in the process. As a result, maltreatment and being rude is unjust. For that reason, being a jerk
is unjust as a jerk qualifies as being a rude, self absorbed individual. Dale fits this description perfectly
since he shows many signs of his disregard of others well being such as taking out his anger onto his
partner a sign of not helping a

No matter where in the world,California s large scale homes, famous actors/movie stars, and perfect

the more people are amused with the aspects that make it up. With that being said, depending on

The New Castle Town Council
In 2008 the New Castle Town Council appointed an eleven member Steering Committee made up of
local residents, business interests, and members of the Planning Commission and Town Council to
guide a new vision for the long term growth and development of the community. This effort was in
response to pending growth pressures, for which the community was not fully prepared. After some
months and considerable community input, the Planning Commission recommended and the Town
Council adopted the Town of New Castle Comprehensive Plan on May 27, 2009.
Prior to the adoption of the Plan, the National and local economies were strong. As a result, New
Castle had begun to experience significant change. The intent of the Plan was to establish a path for
community growth that, while accommodating new housing, businesses, services, jobs, parks/open
spaces, non motorized access systems, transportation, environmental protection and community
infrastructure, would ensure that growth and change would not adversely the small town character and
community values that residents wanted to preserve.
As the community planning process neared its conclusion, the National economy began to experience
a slow down, which in time became significant. Growth and development in the Roaring Fork and
Colorado River Valleys also were affected. This economic downturn fundamentally stopped new
development activity in New Castle. Moe recently, while the upper valley resort economy has

then went out their way to pull a prank out in the street and risk Tiffany, the youngest sibling s life.
This was very dangerous but the children did not give off any fear from attempting the act.
By the end of the essay the children are happy to see their mother again when she appears. You can
tell they have a lot of concern for the mother despite her actions due to them attempting to find her
lost loafer. Sedaris goes on to say This is how things went. One moment she was locking us out of our
own house and the next we were rooting around in the snow, looking for her left shoe (Quoted in
Sedaris 90). Possibly because they just didn t want to be outside anymore. No; this shows that these
types of situations have occurred before and that the children still love their mother. Sedaris David

the bestselling Barrel Fever, Naked, Holidays on Ice, Dress Your Family in Corduroy, Denim, When

Currency war between China and USA and its global impacts on economy.
Currency War:
Currency war, also known as competitive devaluation, is a condition in international affairs where
countries compete against each other to achieve a relatively low exchange rate for their own currency.
As the price to buy a particular currency falls so too does the real price of exports from the country.
Imports become more expensive too, so domestic industry, and thus employment, receives a boost in
demand both at home and abroad. However, the price increase in imports can harm citizens
purchasing power. The policy can also trigger retaliatory action by other countries which in turn can
lead to a general decline in international trade, harming ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
It will occur when the money supply is increased faster than the growth of real output.
Note: the link between printing money and causing inflation is not straightforward. The money supply

Large National Debt. To finance large national debts, governments often print money and this can
cause inflation.
Economic Outlook
If a country s economy is in a slow growth or recessionary phase, the value of their currency
depreciates. The value of a country s currency also depreciates if its major economic indicators like
retail sales and Gross Domestic Product, or GDP, are declining. A high and/or rising unemployment
rate can also depreciate currency value because it indicates an economic slowdown. If a country s
economy is in a strong growth period, the value of their currency appreciates.
Trade Deficit
A trade deficit occurs when the value of goods a country imports is more than the value of goods it
exports. When the trade deficit of a country increases, the value of the domestic currency depreciates
against the value of the currency of its trading partners.
The demand for imports should fall as imports become more expensive. However, some imports are
essential for production or cannot be made in the country and have an inelastic demand we end up
spending more on these when the exchange rate falls in value. This can cause the balance of payments
to worsen in the short run (a

The s Argument For The Free Will
Free will is something which all human s posses. However, if God has knowledge of all the decisions
we will ever make how can free will exist? Boethius confronts this question with his consolation of
philosophy. He answers it by his definition of eternity and how it pertains to human s free will. During
this paper I will analyze Boethius s argument as to why we retain our free will based upon his
definition of eternity. Boethius says that God has the ability of foreknowledge and knows all things
past, present, and future because of his eternity. Foreknowledge is defined by Boethius as the ability of
God to foresee things in the future. According to Boethius once God foresees things through
foreknowledge they are thus necessary to ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Through this eternality and living in a moment that never passes our free will is not affected. If God
does knew things of the future based on the necessity that they must occur. Then this would indeed
alter the idea that humans have free will because if something is to occur out of necessity, then that
thing was no longer chosen out of free will, but was chosen because it was a necessary action.
Therefore, God s knowledge of things that occur in the future is not based upon necessity, but rather
knowledge based upon truth. All things that occur are thus done not out of necessity, but are done
through the free will of its agent. Through this ability that God possesses to view all things in his
present it would appear that all things then are, through the divine eye, out of necessity. No matter if
you change your actions or your purpose God will still have foreknowledge of the events to come
because man cannot change the divine knowledge. Since God is eternal and exists outside of time and
through his abilities, we retain our free will, however God already knows what we have done or
chosen before we have done these things. All things we do therefore are done through a free will
however are seen as a necessity through providence to happen. Even though through the definition of
eternity God already has knowledge of what is to come and what decisions

Islamic Religion Of Islam And Islam
Peace, Purity, Submission and Obedience; these four words establish the fundamental explanation of
the word Islam. A deep study of Islamic teachings and thought reveals that Islam is a religion of peace,
security and protection; the true believers in the sight of God and His Messenger are those who
embody those qualities. The dominant religion of Islam has been the center of much attention and
controversy in today s civilization. The Western perspective subjugates Islam and the Muslim
counterparts as violent, aggressive, deviant and terroristic; all of which have no factual significance to
the religion of Islam and the teachings of the scriptures of the Holy Quran. However, growing
incidences of suicide terrorism in Islamic civilizations bestow this stereotypical belief of the Islamic
religion connectedness to suicide terrorism. Hence, this depiction falsifies a true representation of
Islam and the teachings of the Quran but perhaps has become the dominant ideology of Western
Culture to instill fear, moral panic and demonize the religion of Islam in the creation of modern day
Islamaphobia. The correlation of Islam and suicide terrorism is not an accurate representation of the

The Effects Of Advertising On Youth s Psychology
Professor Jeff Richards once said Creative without strategy is called art, but creative with strategy is
called advertising. This quote is basically stating that advertisements use a lot of techniques and
strategies to convince and persuade audience. Particularly advertisements use psychological feelings
to persuade you positively or negatively towards a product. Advertising affects youth s psychology by
triggering feelings that make you want to buy their product.
First, corporations work on multiple strategies specifically in the field of pschology that might even
change your life forever positively or negatively .For example, time.com states that Companies get
you lost and confused. It s not an accident that grocery stores are often laid out unintuitively. Losing
focus makes people spend more on impulse purchases, says expert Martin Lindstrom, who has
conducted studies on marketing strategies. Getting interrupted during shopping also makes you less
price sensitive, according to research co authored by marketing professor Wendy Liu at UC San
Diego. That s because when you return to look at products after a distraction, you have a false sense of

Essay on Trademark Inc. 03-05
Re: Case 03 05, Accounting Issues
Background
Trademark, Inc., a public and growing global corporation, creates, assembles, and disburses their
products through four main divisions of their corporation: Greeting Cards and Stationery, Calendars,
Party Goods, and Specialty Gifts. Their core business comes from their customers in drug stores and
supermarket chains. In the early to mid 1990 s, Trademark saw significant growth in response to their
IPO issuance in 1992, however, since 1994, they have seen a flat and ultimate declining growth in
their product.
Issue
Recently, Trademark, Inc. has realized an overstatement in their return of damage goods and are
considering halting their previously acceptable return of slow moving ... Show more content on

Also, according to 605 15 25 1 F, it is acceptable that future amounts be reasonable estimated.
Secondly, the difference between actual and estimated returns is less than 5%, (FASB ASC 250 10 S99
1) therefore, according to GAAP the difference is immaterial and the accounting procedure is
permissible. Lastly, the estimated cost of keeping detailed records for each product line of each
division may outweigh the benefits of accurate rates of returns. Option #2: Trademark, Inc., after
responding to complaints and the high rate of returns, relationships with customers increased and they
received less returns. Trademark, Inc. s ability to make a reasonable estimate of future returns was
impaired because they altered their shipping method, but did not change how they estimated for the
return of damaged goods. According to FASB ASC 605 15 25 3, the ability to make a reasonable
estimate of future returns may be impaired if there have been changes in the selling entities policies or
relationships with customers. Since Nancy has created a reasonable and acceptable estimate factoring
in the impact of new packaging materials, Trademark, Inc. should follow Nancy s guidance.
Furthermore, according to 605 15 45 1, for any sales made with a right of return in which the criteria
in paragraph 605 15 25 1 are met revenue and cost of sales reported in the income statement shall be
reduced to reflect estimated returns. The difference between management s estimate

  • 4. Differences Of Edgar Allan Poe, Hawthorne And Washington... Poe, Hawthorne, and Irving A light switch is either on or off; in a sports match, a team either wins or loses; water is either hot or cold; people are wealthy or poor; thin or fat; muggle or wizard, Dr. Jekyll or Mr. Hyde. These are examples of binary opposites. Rational and irrational thinking are binary opposites meaning that they are concepts that cannot coexist. However, many of the authors that we have read about push the boundaries of this concept. They force our minds to look at the gray areas instead of just black and white and to reflect on reality vs fantasy. They bring the unknown, the fears, and the unaccepted into our world. These authors mix true events with things that they couldn t know so they made them up. Edgar Allan Poe, Nathaniel Hawthorne, and Washington Irving are well known authors of American Romanticism. They are also all known for pushing these boundaries through their creative writing styles. The Romantic Movement, as generally agreed by most scholars, focuses on the individual, the subjective, and the spontaneous (Pennell, 2006, 2). Romantics encouraged contemplation and self awareness, direct contact with nature, and a focus on and an exploration of inner feelings. Edgar Allan Poe born in Boston January 19, 1809. • 8. The Effect Of Detrital Zircon Dating On South Australia Introduction With the use of detrital zircon dating, and minor use of authigenic monazite dating, estimations of age constraints can be applied to the Proterozoic basins on the south Australian island, Tasmania. Zircon minerals occur as a trace component in many sedimentary rocks. Therefore due to its widespread occurrence and its relative resistance to both mechanical and chemical weathering, which enhances its chance of survival through processes of transportation, dating methods through zircon minerals have become a standard for dating sedimentary basins (Black et al). The Rocky Cape Group of northwest Tasmania provides an insight into the record of the passive margin sedimentation and has the potential to constrain Tasmania s position historically within the meso neoproterozoic supercontinent reconstructions (Halpin). A number of studies have been conducted such as Black et al (2004) Berry et al (2008) and Halpin et al (2014), mainly on the Western Tasmanian Terrane, in an effort to constrain a position in past supercontinent amalgamations and to challenge the hypothesis of many supercontinent models such as SWEAT and AUSWUS that Tasmania was positioned in close proximity to the past North American continent, Laurentia. The Governor General in Canada represents the Monarch (Queen Elizabeth II) and acts as the Head of State (the highest ranking position in a sovereign state) in Canada and abroad. This is a significant position because it is the highest position in Canada and because it represents the Monarch, which has the highest authority. Personally, I do not think this is a position that needs to be included in Civic Mirror. Firstly, there is no Monarch in Civic Mirror. Ming Him Ko describes how the central sin of Saul was the disobedience of God s commandments. Saul s heart was not in the right place and Saul was ultimately rejected by God because of his disobedience. Saul was shown to be the disobedient King who ruled under God s displeasure throughout 1 Samuel. God shows that even in His displeasure he takes care of His people. God chose to take what was bad and use it for His glory. He judged the people and not the institution of the Kingship. (Bruce Birch). When God rejected the Kingship of Saul God directed Samuel to anoint the King that God had chosen to lead the people, David. David would never have been chosen by the people. He was the youngest son in his family good only for tending the sheep. However, God had greater purposes. Philip Graham Ryken Chapter Summary I like and enjoyed reading on Philip Graham Ryken writing from a very conservatives point of view and his encouragement to the readers to return to the pillars of faith the church once held dear (in the first century). Ryken starts his book with an introduction to postmodernism and identifies these post Christian times as being characterized by relativism and narcissism which is pretty much true in these modern days. From a very conservative point of view Ryken said in order to fight against these modern day contemporary churches which are being characterized by relativism and narcissism and to be a remedy to society, churches need to return to the model of the 1st century church a church that was modeled on teaching, worshiping and caring. Agreement: I am in very much agreement with Ryken s identification on seven objectives for the church: expository preaching, worthy worship, Bible study and fellowship, pastoral care, educational programs, missionary work and service to the church and community. In my opinion, while not experiencing French Canadian life, although another of my family members has, I feel that Quebec Nationalism is not compatible with the rest of Canada, but we are the only thing they have, and if Canada lets them go, they will not have enough resources politically, monetarily, or military, since most of this is supplied to Quebec from the rest of Canada. Since Quebec s defeat in the Rebellion of 1837, many Quebecois feel that they have been subject to Anglophone domination from the rest of Canada (Lamrick, 2015). To keep it simple, let s check out the main thing you should know about a boat: Buoyancy. Buoyancy, by definition, is the upward force exerted by a liquid on any immersed object. If the force of the liquid on the object is greater than that of the object on the liquid then the object will float. In other words buoyancy is dependent upon the density of the liquid and the volume of the object submerged. It is a massive bird that flies with the greatest of ease. Lets take a look at the casually oversimplified physics behind the flight of a bird. Basically, birds wings are not flat but are shaped like an aerofoil. Air passes over or under the wing as the bird moves forward, or as the wind blows. The air that moves over the top of the wing has further to travel to get across the wing, thus it speeds up. This causes the pressure to drop because the same amount of air is exerting its pressure over a greater area. Therefore, any given point experiences less pressure. This effectively sucks the wing up. Meanwhile the air going below the wing experiences the opposite effect. It slows down, generates more pressure and effectively pushes the wing up. Hence a bird with air moving over its wings is pulled up from above and pushed up from below. Marine Mammals Communication: Whales are amazing mammals on many levels. Chapter 3 in Major Problems with American Popular Culture discusses the meaning and purposes of popular culture in the 19th century American society. The text presents a variety of materials attributed to America popular culture of that time, such as accounts of Fejee Mermaid exposition, extracts from the 19th century Shakespeare s adaptations and the eyewitness testimony of the Astor Place Riot in 1849. Furthermore, the YouTube video sources discuss the concept of imagined community, first suggested by Benedict Anderson. Imagined community is discussed in the light of popular culture, which becomes an alternative instrument of imagining communities with the emergence of different types of media, it being film, theatre, news or internet. Interestingly, the 19th century American theatre and its public was a powerful representation of the existing society, notably, not only within America but also inclusive of the British who were a part of American theatre world. An easy example would be at the end of the exposition where there is a PAC in ms. 99. Following that is a rest and then an appearance of F sharp minor. This is the beginning of the development. The end of the development ends with a huge forte with a pedal tone and a cadence at ms. 160. The wind section quietly brings the section to a close as the strings reintroduce the primary theme back in the original key of G minor. These large sections are not likely to be mistaken. Beethoven too has clearly defined the large sections of the sonata form. His exposition begins after two opening chords with the theme in the cello section. Well in the novel The Chrysalids the image of God, as reflected in Nicholson s Repentances, seems to agree with the first option. The image of God within this novel demands very strict guidelines. Due to these guidelines this image seems to discriminate against others who are not perfect in their eyes. If a person does not meet the requirements dictated by the image of God as stated within Nicholson s Repentances, they face grave consequences. In order to not serve these consequences, they must keep their flaws/blemishes secretive and this leads to conflicts. While other characters cause problems for others about the image of God. He s the kind of person that cuts in line or the kind that vents his tantrum to his partner. We call these people: jerks. So is Dale a jerk? A jerk is an individual that is foolish, naive, egotistical, as well as unjust. Here I ll be explaining the views of Schwitzgebel, Polemarchus, and Thrasymachus of being a jerk. Schwitzgebel defines a jerk as being ignorant of their self serving tendencies. An example of this is parking in two spots in a lot, disregarding other people s need to park as well. A jerk would not know that their selfish actions would affect others, therefore they do not know that they are a jerk themselves. Not only do they lack attention to other s well being, they also tend to view other s in a negative light. As Schwitzgebel said, Jerks see the world through goggles that dim others humanity. Surrounded by fools, creeps, stuck up snobs, smug assholes, and, of course, jerks, Schwitzgebel associates this view as a jerk s view; as most of the world do not see people negatively. Boethius confronts this question with his consolation of philosophy. He answers it by his definition of eternity and how it pertains to human s free will. During this paper I will analyze Boethius s argument as to why we retain our free will based upon his definition of eternity. Boethius says that God has the ability of foreknowledge and knows all things past, present, and future because of his eternity. Foreknowledge is defined by Boethius as the ability of God to foresee things in the future. According to Boethius once God foresees things through foreknowledge they are thus necessary to ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Through this eternality and living in a moment that never passes our free will is not affected. If God does knew things of the future based on the necessity that they must occur. Then this would indeed alter the idea that humans have free will because if something is to occur out of necessity, then that thing was no longer chosen out of free will, but was chosen because it was a necessary action. Therefore, God s knowledge of things that occur in the future is not based upon necessity, but rather knowledge based upon truth. All things that occur are thus done not out of necessity, but are done through the free will of its agent. Through this ability that God possesses to view all things in his present it would appear that all things then are, through the divine eye, out of necessity. No matter if you change your actions or your purpose God will still have foreknowledge of the events to come because man cannot change the divine knowledge. Since God is eternal and exists outside of time and through his abilities, we retain our free will, however God already knows what we have done or chosen before we have done these things. A deep study of Islamic teachings and thought reveals that Islam is a religion of peace, security and protection; the true believers in the sight of God and His Messenger are those who embody those qualities. The dominant religion of Islam has been the center of much attention and controversy in today s civilization. The Western perspective subjugates Islam and the Muslim counterparts as violent, aggressive, deviant and terroristic; all of which have no factual significance to the religion of Islam and the teachings of the scriptures of the Holy Quran. However, growing incidences of suicide terrorism in Islamic civilizations bestow this stereotypical belief of the Islamic religion connectedness to suicide terrorism.
