CHRONOLOGY
2006 With the primary objective to attract investment
in palm oil downstream activities, the development on
627 acres of land started in 2006
2017 Construction of temporary jetty and bulking installations
completed
2018 Rebranded as a Sandakan Furniture Park in December
2018 by the previous Chief Minister Datuk Seri
Panglima Shafie bin Apdal. Total land area dedicated for
furniture and light industry is 367 acres
2019 Construction of permanent jetty completed
