This document describes an innovator's solution to prevent lake pollution from idol immersions during religious festivals in Baroda, India. The solution involves dedicating 1/4 of the lake area for immersions and then pumping out and recycling the water before returning it to the lake. This prevents pollution while respecting religious sentiments. The innovator is currently operating in 4 lakes but aims to expand to all 20 lakes in Baroda and make it a year-round activity. Partnering with corporations for CSR could help with scaling and funding the environmental protection efforts.
