These days technology is becoming more widespread. The question is are we still reading as
attentively and thoroughly as we used to due to these new portable ways of reading. The main
issue here is that our attention is divided between pixels and link as our brains respond
differently to onscreen text than to words on paper. There have been many published studies
since 1980 s where researchers from different fields like psychology, computer engineering and
information science have brought up such issues in more than one hundred published studies.
Many of these studies done before 1992, always concluded that people read slowly, less
