Santa Claus is a legendary figure who is said to bring gifts to children on Christmas Eve. According to tradition, Santa lives at the North Pole where he has a workshop full of elves who help him make toys all year long. On Christmas Eve, Santa delivers presents to homes around the world using his sleigh pulled by reindeer. Traditions vary by country, with Santa visiting homes in Finland by sleigh and leaving gifts under decorated trees in Spain. Overall, Christmas is celebrated as a time to spend with family and friends in remembrance of loved ones.

1. CHRISTMAS
1.Who started the Christmas? How we celebrate it?
The Christmas celebrate the birth date of Christ. So it started some years after the death of him. We
celebrate it giving gifts, being with the family and being happy all time.
2.Who give presents at Christmas?
In Christmas, it’s tipical the name “Santa Claus”. Who is he? He gives us presents in the 24th of
December (Christmas Eve)!! Let´s listen the leyend of Santa Claus :
Santa Claus lives in the North Pole. He has a factory there with elfs, reindeers... All the year he and
the elfs are doing toys for all the kids of the world. He wears a red jacket and pants of the same
colour. He wears a hat red, too.
But, did Santa Claus wear like now always? The answer is no. Santa Claus wears all green, in old
times.
3.Traditions All Over The World
In the world there are so many different types of people. So, do they celebrate Christmas in the
same way in other places, countries,...?
No, they don´t... For example, in Finland, Santa Claus goes in a sleight witn a reindeer stopping in
all the homes of the country, giving presents to the children (that wait Santa Claus in the door of
their house). In Spain, Santa Claus visits the homes of the kids that are sleeping and lets presents
under a tree decorated with lights.He eats cookies and milk that the kids leave him on a table near
the tree.

2. Christmas is one of the most popular festivals in the world. It’s a time that we need to spend with
the family and the friends. We remember the people that aren´t with us now, too... That is one of the
things that I did this Christmas...
