We receive presents on Christmas (December 25th) and Epiphany (January 6th). On Christmas Eve and Epiphany Eve, children are given presents by Santa Claus or the three wise men after being told whether they were naughty or nice that year. In Spain, families exchange gifts in the morning on these holidays and nougat candy is a Christmas tradition. People decorate trees and sofas with wrapped gifts and parades feature Santa Claus and the wise men throwing gifts to children. As children, people believe these gift-givers are real but grow to understand their parents put the gifts there.
