Christmas is celebrated on December 25th to commemorate the birth of Jesus Christ as well as to ring in the new year. It involves families exchanging presents on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, and ringing in the new year at midnight on December 31st by eating 12 grapes, one for each chime of the clock. People also celebrate Epiphany on January 6th, remembering the day the three wise men arrived to present gifts to baby Jesus.

2. What is Christmas?
 Christmas is a celebration of the birth of Jesus and the
end of the year.
 The birth of Jesus is in Christmas Eve.
 The end of the year is in Old Night.

3. Christmas Eve.
 Good night is the day of birth of Jesus. It’s in the 25th
of December.
 This night the families makes presents between them.

4. Old night.
 This night we celebrate the new year. At twelve o’clock
we eat twelve grapes in the moment when we pass to
new year.

5. The Three Wise Men.
 The 6th of January we celebrate that the Three Wise
Men make presents for Jesus.
 This day we go to the parade of The Three Wise Men.
The families make presents for the childres of the
house.
