Conventional authorization projects are based on a monolithic approach, with a standardized procedure model and a linear sequence of project phases with milestones. In an ideal project, where both the project factors and the final state are known, this approach might go well. But if changes occur during the project, things become more difficult, and the response is often to increase the resources or push the deadline back. Neither is an ideal solution for your project.
In our experience, SAP S/4HANA authorization projects tend to be highly dynamic, due to the lack of a clear overall strategy in the beginning and frequently changing requirements. This is a key reason why such projects fail.
Our SAP experts at SAST SOLUTIONS follow an agile project management approach that is perfectly suited to the complexity and dynamism in SAP S/4HANA projects. Take advantage of our extensive experience and benefit from rapid response times to changing requirements and a continuous optimization process.

SAP Testing with SolMan and SAP Quality CenterLaxmi2121
This Presentation introduces you to the latest testing techniques using tools and capabilities of SAP Solution Manager along with HP’s Quality Center and gives you strategies and best practices to evaluate and improve your integrated testing procedures and environments.
Six Sigma is a data-driven methodology for process improvement. It aims to reduce defects and variation in processes by focusing on customer needs and using statistical methods. The DMAIC methodology involves five phases - Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, and Control. The Define phase identifies the problem and goals. Measure involves collecting data on process metrics. Analyze determines the root causes of defects. Improve develops and tests solutions. Control sustains the improvements through standard processes and controls. Six Sigma has helped companies like Motorola and Ford save billions by reducing costs through quality improvement.

DMAIC-Six sigma process Improvement ApproachConfiz
The document describes a Six Sigma DMAIC process improvement project conducted by a product development company on their Simobo product. It includes details of each DMAIC phase: Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, and Control. In the Define phase, a project charter was created to reduce support issues and defects. The Measure phase involved data collection and determining the baseline defect rate. Analysis identified the root causes of defects. Improve developed solutions which were tested. Control created controls to maintain the solutions and reduced the defect rate to achieve a sigma level of 4.08.

Finally, it introduces SAP solutions for test management, automation, data management, security testing, and more to help the customer progress along the maturity roadmap towards a center of excellence.
The document discusses improving organizational efficiency through business process improvements. It outlines a 9-stage approach to implementing process improvements that begins with strategic planning and business process mapping, then progresses through design, testing, training, data conversion, pilot implementation, full implementation, and post-implementation analysis. Implementing integrated systems across the entire organization can eliminate waste, reduce steps, and improve efficiency compared to a non-integrated, standalone approach. Case studies show potential savings in areas like forecasting, payments, and human resources.

Climate Impact of Software Testing at Nordic Testing DaysKari Kakkonen
My slides at Nordic Testing Days 6.6.2024
Climate impact / sustainability of software testing discussed on the talk. ICT and testing must carry their part of global responsibility to help with the climat warming. We can minimize the carbon footprint but we can also have a carbon handprint, a positive impact on the climate. Quality characteristics can be added with sustainability, and then measured continuously. Test environments can be used less, and in smaller scale and on demand. Test techniques can be used in optimizing or minimizing number of tests. Test automation can be used to speed up testing.

Observability Concepts EVERY Developer Should Know -- DeveloperWeek Europe.pdfPaige Cruz
Monitoring and observability aren’t traditionally found in software curriculums and many of us cobble this knowledge together from whatever vendor or ecosystem we were first introduced to and whatever is a part of your current company’s observability stack.
While the dev and ops silo continues to crumble….many organizations still relegate monitoring & observability as the purview of ops, infra and SRE teams. This is a mistake - achieving a highly observable system requires collaboration up and down the stack.
I, a former op, would like to extend an invitation to all application developers to join the observability party will share these foundational concepts to build on:
Threats to mobile devices are more prevalent and increasing in scope and complexity. Users of mobile devices desire to take full advantage of the features
available on those devices, but many of the features provide convenience and capability but sacrifice security. This best practices guide outlines steps the users can take to better protect personal devices and information.
