Personal Statement
I am a target focused, commercially aware and highly motivated Logistics Manager who has a natural affinity for change and
an engaging management style. With my superb communication skills will be able to work closely with other colleagues to
explore potential opportunities for cost reduction and the best outcome for the company. I have a comprehensive
understanding of logistics methodology, depot management, warehouse activities, inventory control, master scheduling, as
well as what it takes to run a plant at high level of safety, production, and quality. I view the company that I work for as my
own and make decisions that are best for the company and the employees. I am now looking to be part of something special,
and want to work for a dynamic and fast paced company that provides unequalled career opportunities.
Employment History
Logistic Manager (2012-Present)
Georgia Pacific; Parchment, Michigan
Responsibilities went beyond managing a team of two individuals for procurement, scheduling, and distribution. Marketing
and I would work together on any new products development. I was part of the Plant Leadership team which reviewed the
safety, quality, and financials of the company to make sure we were doing the best outcome for the company and its
employees. When the Plant Director was out of the office, I was appointed to cover for him and responsible for running the
plant with solving any problems and making major decisions. My team was responsible for scheduling full operation,
inventory management, new development, and procurement of all materials and parts. I handled the crewing and labor
requirements for the facility as well. Once the decision was made to close our facility, I was appointed the lead person from
our plant to handle all transitions.

Responsible for managing the customer account that 90% of the companies volume. I was the lead on putting quotes together
for the company. When I started for the company I completed the master scheduling for operations. I was able to work with
operations to minimize change overs and reduce required labor per jobs. Major responsibility was to monitor customer
orders from when an order was received to when it shipped out the door. Was to make sure everything was completed on
time and to the high quality standards.
Just some of my job duties included but not limited to the following:
• Lead Quote Team.
• Manage Inventory – Forecast.

• Master Operations / Transportation Scheduling.
• Monitor Short Lead Time Deliveries.

Responsible for managing purchasing accounts to negotiated price and quality standards. I would visit the supplier facilities
and audit them to make sure they were producing our parts to our standards. When parts were received into the facility with
any concerns, I would work with the Engineering group and supplier to see if the parts could be used or if new had to be made.
Just some of my job duties included but not limited to the following:

Contract Scheduling Supervisor (1998-2006)

Responsibilities started in the compression manufacturing area. After three months I then moved up into the Data Control
department where I set up any new items within SAP. I was also appointed the trainer for any new hires. My determination
then led me to a promotion within the Contract Scheduling department. I was supervising three direct reports that managed
accounts with contract suppliers. We had jobs that would require packaging or rework at an offsite company. We had to work
with our internal production department, engineering, customer service, procurement, and our contract supplier.
