This document contains a daily lesson log for a Grade 11 Creative Writing class taught by Jill M. Sacopon. Over the course of a week, the class will focus on various elements, techniques, and devices used in fiction writing. These include setting, conflict, irony, theme, mood, foreshadowing, and symbolism. Each lesson will introduce and discuss these concepts through examples, exercises, and applying them to a short story. Students will practice identifying and incorporating these fiction elements into their own story writing. The teacher will evaluate students' understanding through formative assessments and provide additional activities for those who need more practice or remediation.
