This document provides a script summary for the short film "An Unlikely Friend". It describes how Anthony, who feels lonely and ignored by his family, repeatedly helps his neighbor Marie when she drops her shopping trolley. They strike up an unlikely friendship, confiding in each other about their difficult situations. However, the summary ends by returning to the beginning scene of Anthony finding a note, suggesting Marie has now left, leaving him feeling alone once more.
For any production to be worth the time and resources the script must inspire adventure. The story line is one thing and the plot another. Here is a sample of my script writes, please advent if you would. Comments are welcome!
We often have conversations over phone and it is very important that we pay attention to how you talk or ‘behave\' on phone. The following guidelines will help to make the first impression a good one. Professionalism is polite, thoughtful, efficient, educated and valuable at all times.
In a world where customer acquisition costs are 4-5 times more then the costs of retaining customers, companies need to focus on improving customer satisfaction and keeping customers happy.

Phone Etiquette: Vocal Skills
Voice reflects attitude. Even if the words are correct and intended to be polite, tone could imply the opposite. Voice is made up of five distinct elements: tone, inflection, pitch, rate and volume. Your voice contains specific percentages of each element that makes it uniquely yours. However, there is a best practice range within which your voice sounds confident and most importantly professional.

This is the first draft that I made of my script different. I highlited all the Exterior Parts in Yellow and the Interior parts in Light blue also colouring the characters names.
Tania faces her father, George Jr., but hits a soft spot when she brings up her dead brother. She has a lot to learn when it comes to knowing who her father really is. Her mother, Bianca, steps in to give her a bit of insight on George Jr. 's past.
Upon the family's return from China, Tania turns her attention to Antwain Cheek, a boy that she's had her eye on for a while. Tania is falling for Antwain, but does he feel the same?
This is a short story I wrote about 2 years ago and I still love reading it and sharing it with others. This story is about a troubled teen who faces real life problems everyday and struggles to fight them, to find out if she does, give it a read. It is very dramatic and suspenseful. I'm sure you'll enjoy it very much so.

WALMART SCENE

(We hear loud voices in the distance)
(We’re on the bread isle. There are quite a few people on the isle. On the far left shelf there’s bread and on the far right there are little Debbie snack cakes and goodies, this is center. Directly across from the bread are the frozen pizzas and other frozen food items.)
(A woman in her early 40’s is searching for the right bread to buy.)
(She is wearing a nice pair of jeans with a black and white striped shirt and UGG boots because it’s cold outside.)
(She is having a conversation with her daughter quietly when all of a sudden her daughter starts speaking louder.)
DAUGHER
But, please?
(She groans anxiously)
MOM
(She glances at her daughter in annoyance)
NO! And I mean no.
(She begins reading the bread labels)
DAUGHTER
But mom, it’ll only take a…. (Mom interrupts)
MOM
(She drops the bread and immediately turns to her daughter)
N.O. NO means no! I don’t care how unfair you think it is I’m not letting you!
DAUGHTER
(She pauses)
(She groans)
You always do this mom! Every time we go somewhere you never let me leave from under your arm! When are you going to let me grow up?!
(Both voices continue to get louder)
MOM
Don’t get that attitude with me young lady or I’ll whoop you right here in front of all of these people!
(Everyone is staring at the two)
DAUGHTER
Oh, that’ll make you look like mom of the year. Wouldn’t it?! I’m not a child anymore!
MOM
Stop! You’re making a scene!
(She grabs her daughters arm)
That’s it we are leaving and I’m telling your father!
(Suddenly it seems as if time has stopped. Everyone has stopped what they
were doing and are just staring at the two arguing)
DAUGHTER
I don’t care. The hell will he do? He’s probably cheating on you anyways. If I were him I know I would!
(a longer pause)
(Everyone is in awe)
MOM
(she looks shocked and upset)
Th-That’s it! I’ve had it with your mouth! You’re grounded! Keep your mouth shut and don’t say anything else to me. I don’t know what’s wrong with you. Let’s go!! NOW!!
(They both walk away, the mother pushing the cart, leaving the bread behind, ashamed and embarrassed they walk with their heads down and fail to make eye contact)
PART II~ The Observation
Creating a Monologue
She sits alone in the student center everyday. She sits at the same table with nobody to talk to. She has a blank piece of paper on the table in front of her. She sits there quietly, tapping her pen on the table. She pretends to be the happiest girl alive; she’s friendly, helpful, soft-spoken, headstrong, confident, beautiful, intelligent, but if you truly look at ...

We all have good and bad thoughts from time to time and situation to situation. We are bombarded daily with spiraling thoughts(both negative and positive) creating all-consuming feel , making us difficult to manage with associated suffering. Good thoughts are like our Mob Signal (Positive thought) amidst noise(negative thought) in the atmosphere. Negative thoughts like noise outweigh positive thoughts. These thoughts often create unwanted confusion, trouble, stress and frustration in our mind as well as chaos in our physical world. Negative thoughts are also known as “distorted thinking”.

Operation “Blue Star” is the only event in the history of Independent India where the state went into war with its own people. Even after about 40 years it is not clear if it was culmination of states anger over people of the region, a political game of power or start of dictatorial chapter in the democratic setup.
The people of Punjab felt alienated from main stream due to denial of their just demands during a long democratic struggle since independence. As it happen all over the word, it led to militant struggle with great loss of lives of military, police and civilian personnel. AN UNLIKELY FRIEND
EXT. OUTSIDE MARIE’SHOUSE – DAY
Audience are shown a shot of a note, unable to
make out what it says (due to handwriting). Cut
to Anthony’s face looking sad and distraught.
Looks left to right as if looking for someone.
Finally looking down to the note. Cut to the
note in his hand as he scrunches the paper,
dropping it to the ground. (Slow motion shot).
Cut to Anthony walking away from the camera, with
hands in pockets, clearly upset and wondering
what’s happening. This shot should build tension
and the walk should not be too fast.
INT. ANTHONY’S HOUSE AND MARIE’S HOUSE - EVENING
We are taken through the everyday life of Anthony
as he eats his dinner alone and does his laundry
alone. Anthony’s facial expression should read
sad and lonely so that the audience knows that he
as no-one to help him.
Between these shots, we will see shots with
similar activity, but from Marie.
EXT. PARK NEAR MARIE’S HOUSE – DAY
Marie is walking down the path near the football
pitch, with Anthony walking a little behind her.
She drops her shopping trolley and Anthony is
quick to her aid.
ANTHONY
Here let me help you with that.
MARIE
Thank you, I’m always having trouble with
situations like this.
ANTHONY
3. Well I’ve got it for you this time (friendly
smile). Have a nice day.
MARIE
Thank you again, you also.
We are taken through scenes where they constantly
see each other in passing when they are walking
to and from the park. At every encounter, both
characters act friendly and share a smile and a
hello in all scenes.
Anthony is once again walking behind Marie and
she drops her shopping trolley and slightly
falls.
ANTHONY
I’ve come to your rescue again.
MARIE
Thanks for helping me once again, I don’t know
what’s got into me recently, I keep stumbling
along this path with my trolley.
ANTHONY
Well here, allow me to wheel your trolley home
for you, just so I know you get home safely.
MARIE
Oh, that’s kind of you but I think I can manage.
ANTHONY
No no, I insist.
MARIE
Okay, well at least let me make you a cup of tea
when we get back to say thank you. I’m Marie by
the way.
ANTHONY
I’m not so sure about the tea, I’m just happy to
help you. Well I’m Anthony, it’s nice to meet
you.
4. We follow them back to Marie’s house where they
begin to depart at her front door.
MARIE
Please do come in for some tea, as a thank you
for being so helpful.
ANTHONY
Okay then, but I can’t be long, I’ll get in
trouble.
MARIE
I don’t want to keep you if you’re going to get
in trouble?
ANTHONY
I’m sure it will be fine, I’ll just stay for half
an hour.
INT. MARIE’S HOUSE – DAY
We follow the characters inside and the scene
ends on the door shutting on the audience.
We are taken through many more scenes of the two
characters having a laugh over tea.
One scene includes the two sitting having a
conversation about their lives.
MARIE
Do you not spend that much time with your family
then?
ANTHONY
To be honest, my family act like I don’t exist,
so most of the time it doesn’t matter whether I’m
there or not.
MARIE
Oh, that can’t be a nice situation to be in.
ANTHONY
5. Yeah, well I’m used to it now and I don’t have
many friends to help me with dealing with it.
MARIE
Well maybe you could talk to me about it?
ANTHONY
I’m not too sure, it’s hard for me.
MARIE
Don’t feel like I’m forcing you too, I just
thought I could be someone here to talk too.
ANTHONY
No, it’ll probably do me good to talk about it.
We are briefly shown the two having an in depth
conversation with music flowing over the top to
replicate the style of music.
Scene cuts to black.
EXT. OUTSIDE MARIE’S HOUSE – DAY
We return to the first shot of Anthony looking at
the note and him scrunching it up and throwing it
to the ground.
We are then taken on a slow journey throughout
the ground floor of Marie’s house, suggesting
that she has left.
INT. ANTHONY’S HOUSE - NIGHT
Anthony goes home and we are shown him sitting
with his family, with them acting like he doesn’t
exist.
He stands up and walks out of the house, not
looking back and we are shown a slow motion
close-up of his parents looking shocked.
PENELOPE
Where do you think you’re going?
6. There is no response from Anthony and he just
walks out looking strong and powerful. He visits
Marie’s house and realises the door is open. He
walks around with a smile on his face. He then
turns and exits and the scene fades out.
