myself as well as others. Use numerous methods of planning, observation and
reflection before, during and after practice.
Work Experiences/Previous Employment
Bidston Tennis & Sport Centre, Valley Road, CH41 7EJ
 During my time on work experience I had to arrive on time every day and be
prepared for the tasks I was set out to do. I had to arrive at 9am and was on
duty until 4pm, I had 100% attendance and punctuality as I attended my Work
Experience every day. My Work Experience took place from July 4th-8th 2011.
 I had many responsibilities whilst on work experience as well as having good
punctuality throughout the week, such as setting up equipment, cleaning up in
places such as the toilets, sports hall and the gym and also assisting customers
at reception. I had to communicate with both the customers and staff in the
appropriate manor and ensure that all customers were safe during their visit. I
worked along side many of the coaches and other staff, where I coached
disabled people wheelchair tennis, assisting the coaches with coaching
Spanish children which enhanced my multi-language and communication
skills as I had to communicate with the children with in the group.
Tranmere Rovers in the Community, Prenton Road West, CH42 9PY
 During my time at Tranmere Rovers in the Community I assisted coaches with
numerous tasks. These tasks included cleaning the environment to ensure it
was safe and efficient enough for both the staff and users, setting up
equipment and assisting the coaches during their sessions with numerous
members of the community, including school children, disabled and able
bodied individuals, helping and guiding to take part in the sessions that where
set up, enhancing both my personal skills as well as their own.
 Using numerous observation and reflection techniques, I was able to deliver
my own sessions during numerous events in which Tranmere Rovers in the
Community and the club provide. These include; Soccer schools, holiday
clubs and Tranmere’s match day kid’s zone.
National Citizen Service – Assistant Programme Leader, Summer 2015
 My role during the Summer NCS programme with Tranmere Rovers involved
assisting and working alongside the Programme Leader and other members of
staff who were jointly responsible for the care and behaviour of the young
people. With a group of around 50-60 young people, myself and fellow
leader’s provided various tasks which include:
- Two week residential with numerous get active and social activities
- Social Action project
- Sexual Health & First Aid courses
Voluntary Roles
Sports2Kids, 2014- 2015
 During my time at Sports2Kids assistant the head coach, helping deliver
football and multi skills sessions to 3-5 year old infants. The aims and
objectives are to develop the infant’s ABC’s (Agility, Balance, Coordination
and Speed) as well as other fundamental and football skills as well as shaping
my own future coaching practice techniques and style.
 My personal aims were to develop as a coach and as a person, developing my
coaching skills including confidence and communication as well as my
knowledge and understanding of how children learn and develop sport and life
skills to maximise their potential life-long involvement within sport and
physical activity which I believe I have done.
Junior Football Coaching
 To further develop my practical coaching and personal skills, I coach two
junior football teams, Victoria Colts U’9s and Wallasey Wanderers U13’s
during the week and on the weekend. This role involves developing the
children’s social, physical, tactical and technical skills as well as providing
them with an equal opportunity to fun, challenging competition through
training sessions, matches and tournaments.

as a huge opportunity to do so. I also intend to gain an FA Level 2 Award in
Coaching Football to enable myself to then work towards gaining a UEFA B
