DeltaPlex Arena Intern- Ticketing and Marketing January 2016- Present
Learning how events run and all the work that goes into making sure they run efficiently. I am working in an arena setting an d
ensuring that a wide range of events (form basketball to concerts)run with ease. Maintaining communication with all coworkers
during events.I am learning about different marketing approaches and how important social media is to marketing for a busine ss.As
well as learning the ticketing systemthat is used.
YMCA Program Specialist September 2015- Present
In charge of various classes held at the YMCA such as youth volleyball and basketball, preschoolsoccer and preschoolsports sampler.
Being able to communicate with people of all ages,whether it is a preschoolerlearning how to dribble a soccerball or talking to their
parents about our schedule and upcoming events.I also help with soccer and basketball games by making sure each field/court has
proper equipment, teams know where they are playing, and otherodds and ends to help games and practices run smoothly.
GVSU Football Game Operations August 2015- Present
Taking tickets at the main gate while greeting fans, answering any questions they may have and making sure they were not taking in
any unauthorized items.
Amicarelli Vineyard Restaurant April 2013- August 2015
Served customers meals while maintain the restaurants customerservice standards,as well as keeping a family-friendly environment.
Solving customer complaints by listening to their concerns and doing everything in my ability to rectify the situation.Built
relationships with regular customers by learning and remembering their preferences.
YMCA Internship June 2015- August 2015
This involved completing various tasks related to developing team sports,creating new programs, promoting existing programs, and
maintaining necessary equipment and supplies for programs. Working with children in different contexts while promoting fitnes s,
healthy living, and teamwork.
6-8th Grade Girls Basketball Coach August 20- October 7 2014
Instructing middle schoolgirls, while teaching them the fundamentals of basketball. Organizing a practice plan, creating defensive and
offensive plays, and coordinating time for fun. Keeping players involved as well as interested during practices, while also making
them better athletes,encouraging them to be better students,and reminding them to be healthy and positive.

Grand Valley State University August 2012- Present
I am a Senior at Grand Valley and majoring in Physical Education, with an emphasis in Sport Management. I would love to venture
outside of my comfort zone and explore the many opportunities that Sport Management offers. I have a passion for sports,but am
interested in all that it takes behind the scenes to run events.

Lawrence High School 2009-2012
At Lawrence High School I participated in basketball and volleyball all four years, and softball for two years. I received many awards
and achievements throughout my high schoolcareer.
Skills
I contain excellent service skills through my many years working in the food service industry. I am reliable and responsible; I do
whatever I can to make situations as best as they can be. I am social and enjoy interacting with others, but am more than capable to
handle a task on my own. I am CPR and Frist Aid certified and can handle emergency situations with protocol.
