The experience I have gained in the fitness industry has improved my ability to deliver an
enthusiastic and motivational approach. Exercising and reading up on the latest developments in
health and fitness is something I enjoy and put into practice to help me achieve the best results
possible.

2014: Level 3 Diploma in Sports Massage (Merit).
2013: Level 3 Certificate in Personal Training. ASA SwimFit Instructor.
2012: Level 2 Fitness Instructing for Adolescents. Level 1 ECB Coaching Certificate.

Work Experience
May 2011–Present: Senior Leisure Attendant/Fitness Instructor at Much Wenlock Leisure
Centre.
As a Senior Leisure Attendant I am responsible for supervision of all aspects of the facility
requiring time management and customer service skills. When I am a fitness instructor I deliver
safe and effective exercise classes and promote a healthy, active and balanced lifestyle to
members of the public.
March 2013-June 2013: Assistant PE Teacher at William Brookes School
During my time in this voluntary placement I was teaching health related exercise to years 10
and 11 as well as assisting teachers with other sporting activities.
September 2012-April 2013: Personal Trainer at Lifestyle Fitness
This voluntary placement enhanced my skills as a fitness instructor by working with a range of
exercise routines and goals. This ranged from working with people who have been GP referred to
elite athletes.
September 2008: Assistant PE Teacher at Shrewsbury School
During my two week experience I learnt about the different roles of a PE teacher. I helped plan
and deliver lessons as well as experience the admin duties teachers have to complete.
