We chose the song "Infinity" by Infinity Ink for our music video. We had three days to film but did not capture enough footage for a five-minute video. In my rough edit, some clips have incorrect exposure, contrast, or darker scenery colors that I will fix in After Effects. Some clips also start or end out of sync with the music or were unintentionally added. I will refine the edit in Premier Pro. I plan to add effects in After Effects, including color changes when stickers are applied and adjusting exposure throughout to give it a movie-like feel.

1. Rough Edit Evaluation
The Song we chose to use for our music video is – Infinity – Infinity Ink. We had three days to shoot
our music video before editing our rough edit. We edited it using Adobe Premier Pro and then
uploaded it to Youtube and shared it on Twitter.
As far as my rough edit, I have realised that we didn’t shoot enough footage for our music video. To
overcome this problem, I had shortened the song down to 3:26 from 5:09. But if he had shot for a 5
minute video, we would of needed more than 3 days to film.
I have also realised that some of the clip’s exposure and contrast are wrong and some of the
scenery’s colour is darker than other’s so I will have to fix that in Adobe After Effects.
Looking through the video, I have noticed that I need to change some of the clip’s as some start
playing abit sooner than I wanted to and some clip’s are way out of sync to the music. I have also
added clips into the music video that I didn’t want there. To overcome these problems, I will go back
onto Premier Pro and fine tune it all.
The effects I would like to add to the music video in After Effect is, when they are sticking the “Mr.
Infinity” stickers, the clips chance colour to the beat to give it abit of life. Also adjust the exposure of
the whole music video to give it more of a movie like feel.
