The European Students' Union and Education International launched a European-wide student and teacher mobility campaign from November 2007 to October 2008 as part of the Bologna Process. National student unions and teachers' unions across Europe created national coalitions to raise awareness of mobility issues. The campaign included the creation of a website with resources for students and staff, a mobility barometer study, and an online student mobility petition. A validation conference was held in October 2008 in Lille, France to discuss outcomes of the campaign and develop further recommendations.

Lifelong Learning Platform: General Presentation
The Lifelong Learning Platform is a unique European organization that represents 39 member organizations and over 50,000 educational institutions across all sectors of education and training. It acts as an umbrella association to promote lifelong learning from cradle to grave, including formal, non-formal and informal learning opportunities. The Platform aims to create bridges between different actors and sectors, promote recognition of non-formal and informal learning, and foster dialogue between the EU and civil society on education issues.
