MOBILITY GIVES YOU WINGS!
The logo shows butterflies, representing the students, flying
towards their destiny, their future.
The logo represents the migration of the students coming
from the 4 different continents (4 colors, 4 shapes) towards
Europe.
The different colors and shapes symbolize the diversity of the
students taking part in mobility.
Their take off characterizes the idea of mobility. They are
flying in the same
direction, to Europe, to their future. Their take off symbolizes
their freedom.
We start from a small butterfly to a great butterfly. We show
a dynamic
movement of the evolution life of the butterfly.
In other words, students who study abroad will be subject to
change, they appear more stronger and more attractive in
life.

Here we frame the project with the call and mention the general objective of the call.
“ The European Campus is an EU-funded project in the framework of Erasmus Mundus Action 4. This call had as main goal to enhance the attractiveness of the European Higher Education Area in order to attract more overseas students to study in the European Institutions. At the same time of-course also to enhance the attractiveness towards our own prospective European mobility students. “

The logo. Let us discuss the reasoning behind the entire logo concept. Well it started when one of our colleagues went to mexico and learned about the phenomena of the migration of overseas butterflies towards Europe. We considered this as a nice metaphore.

They create your atrractivness as well. e.g. movie youtube pictures on flickr. Why not try to collect those and bring them together in order to use them.

So this is the focus of the project. We wan to give you a tool where you can show what is your master about. Two aspects Master course information and Stories around your masters. These are the two thing we want to collect in the framework of this project. With these elements we will now be able to make the Eruopean Campus

collecting contact informations, news, events. Now ESN can sow this is our network and these are the sections and this is what going on there. Also UNICA would have this opportunity. What is there network what ere the top master within the network. So in an automated way we would create an attractive database. This database would not be like others. E.g listings, text fields...
As I said before there are some advantages of giving you a tool on local level. It is not like a database where ask you to fill in your stuff. This template you might start to like and use for your own promotion. Universities could use them for a set of their master a kind of cluster of master programms. And we give you a tool that is build on an open source platfrom and that you might extend if you really want. But as we said the focus of this project is master at a glance and stories.
But it can become more. Here you have some other features and opportunities. Some of these are already partially there and you might start to use them, but it is for sure not the focus of this project. But it might give you some incentives to use this platform and I will for sure help you to understand that the possibilities goes beyoind the ones of a typical database.

and universities start to do this. They start to use the opportunities of these new tools and the virality it brings with it
So before we go into the roadmap. It is clear that this project is a project that brings new opportunities. Therefore we wanted to give this approach a try in favor of a classic database.
But focussing back to what are the goals within this project. We want to give you a tools where in the forst place you can upload information about your master and make it bit more interessting and attractive for prospective student by also adding some nice stories. So the roadmap for thos who might give this project a shot :)
Those who want to try it. They can contact us or leave your contacts and you will get an empty template. And in this first stage of the project we ask you only to fill in the form master at glance. You can ofcourse look arround and also try other stuff. But master at glance is something we want you to fill in fro 100% (Here Antonio showed online how it looks like by going to the edit page of the demo and he also explained the complete bar)

We have several questions here but actually I only want you to answer one question. What would block you or decide not to join the European campus and fill in your master at a glance after we send you next week the email?

on sustainability: goals is to ask for new project to extend the features. with this projects also comes funding for maintaining the existing project. We also want to create workinggroup within UNICA. People form different universities who started to use the tools and can support eachother...
