uneven, there is strong industrial offsets.
The pace of industry development reflected
in the increasing number of enterprises, with
the application of protectionist legislation.

considerably in this conditions the late nineteenth
century . Businesses are concentrated in the Old
Kingdom, in Bucharest , on Prahova Valley , Iasi ,
Turnu Sevenir ,Galati , Roman , in Transilvania ,
important industrial centers were in Valea Jiului ,
Cluj, Arad and Timisoara .
