Candy is about the continual progression of products, concepts and projects
that exemplify the friendships formed before any commercial responsibility
came to life

we did it all backwards
the butcher the baker the candlestick maker… for rock candy an ad agency
founder and film director, a world renown fashion photographer, hong
kong’s premier club and members only lounge owner, a global marketing vp
and creative director of leading skateboarding and street label, and two
diamond dealers from a half century old family business – the eclectic mix
that believes in the process that delivers the best product.
6 friends, growing up together in hong kong and across continents had being
talking thru the years of working together. in random acts of travel when
they met again they shit talked in earnest as usual of creating a company
where they would all be free to create products, concepts and a lifestyle
that they all aspired to in their own right
and then by chance a unique space became available as part of one friends
business. so we had a shop or the makings of one. what could have been a
lingerie line became the launch of rock candy’s first product initiative – a
whimsical approach to premium gold and diamond fashion jewelry.
so what are we? a mix of friends that have strayed from common paths in most
regards. a rebellious streak prevalent in all that defines much of the
common ground between us. extremely individual but with varied and similar
interests that bind the group as a collective. we are what we are and that
could be everything and anything on any given sunday. the best description
would be that of a premium streetwear & lifestyle collective.
and it all started with a retail space.

3 years ago, rock candy’s first foray as a brand was in premium gold and
diamond jewelry with a playful and whimsical approach. Given 2 partners
backgrounds in the diamond industry, rock candy’s product quality is second
to none . we are also very proud to make hand crafted molds for all pieces
that allow greater detail and individualism.
