States
Unit Plan Outline

2. Analyze Learners
 4th grade classroom
 20 students, 12 female and 8 male
 3 students are Hispanic, 2 students are African
American, 1 student is Asian
 4 students have ADHD
 Students have varying learning styles, but are
dominantly auditory and visual.

3. Main Objective
My fourth grade students will listen to the song of
the day, and work with station materials provided
by the teacher. Students will be able to identify the
states on the map, create Items representative of
their state, recite/sing the states in the Songs of
the Day. At the end of the week, students will be
familiar or able to identify the 50 states with 80%
accuracy.
